Sword I see you are forecasting a win by a couple of goals. Fair enough but can you give a precise scoreline, I'm placing a bet soon and need to be sure what the matchscore won't be. Actually if you check my facebook page you will see I changed my prediction before the game to a 1-0 defeat, sennockian will back me up on that. I also had a £5 fourfold come in for £77. So it's all your fault!

I think the most frustrating thing is we are a good game once in 3/4 kinda side, which sadly is not promotion material.
I like John Still, but have never warmed to Hakan and I'm not sure he really brings much to the table baring in mind of our performances in a league where at the start of the season we were one of the favourites to succeed.

Looks like patience is wearing out with our current management team as they haven’t delivered on their promises or their experience. Maybe I joined this forum with my particular chosen name at just the right time 😊 The post match will be interesting. It has to be honest. Also it’s great losing underperformed like Edwards Kyei and Pennell but some explanation from JS2 and Hak as to why they ever thought those players would take us to play offs in the first place and yet didn’t may be useful if we are to regain confidence in their management.

Your last point is a good one. John loves to mention his scouting system and the players he found 30 odd years ago but who has this scouting system found since he has been here the 2nd time? Most of the signings have been failures. Akanbi and Khan probably the best 2 but I think Ryan Gordon had more to do with those signings. Wishart the other positive was already here and they wanted rid of him.

I’m happy to give them the season and then work out what the plan is.
I am not seeing much to be excited about re this season. They will soon start claiming it’s all building to next season but with Wish and Khan going, it would be another big summer or changes.
I am not so sure the owners are the types to be able to go out and get an exciting up and coming manager, as they had their fingers burnt already. We’d end up with another ageing experienced manager.

Very quiet game according to SL - "lethargic". I suspect we're missing Chesmain - very underated member of the team, in my opinion. Perhaps it's time to bring on Boucaud to see what he can do? Not the same sort, of player, I know, but worth a try? Maybe Olutade as well? Bring and some energy and determination to the game. Chesmain and Wishart are a good attacking unit, that’s for true.

Didn't go but the issues are there for all to see. My main grouse at the moment is why a full time team cannot do two decent performances in a row. Played well v HU, but unlucky; up one game, down the next, sometimes getting away with it, sometimes not. With a full time team v mostly part timers, we are entitled to expect more consistency. Add in the number of injuries and the question then becomes back luck, or training is not what it should be. Expect part time next season and we may well be all set he better for it.

It does make me chuckle that certain supporters would have you believe how well we are doing. 9 wins from 25 games in a league where I am struggling to name any really good teams tells a different story. I still don’t understand why Olutade is not getting a fair chance either. Wasn’t at game today so can’t comment about performance today. It was worse than Shit

Seems like a few enlightened supporters have quite easily identified some very obvious solutions to the club's stuttering performances. We need to sack the management team immediately and bring back Jay Saunders We need to revert to part time footballers so to improve the fitness and quality of our players. We need to get rid of the owners and replace them with people prepared to invest seriously in the club. This is all brilliant stuff and needs to be taken seriously.

Towards the end of last season JS was absent from the majority of our games amid reports he was scouting for new players for this year, sadly him an HH are not really delivering the goods as far as I,m concerned, today we were really piss poor against a side we should beat easily, we never really threatened an it was poor to watch. We cannot keep blaming it on injuries or lack of funds or anything other than we do not have a squad good enough or consistent enough to challenge this league. The club may be happy to stay in this league an just expect us to continue buying our ST,s an following the club but as fans we need to see a little bit more a bit of fire in there bellies because if we dont change we will be exactly the same next year recruit a new squad, hopefully 2 or 3 good players will emerge who we will sell for a progit in Jan2021 an the cycle will start again. Just how long will fans accept this style of management and players??
