Harsh but true. Such an underperformer for the club. Mind you the bench is going to be full of academy players at this rate.

It was telling for John Stills comments that he only mentioned traits connected to him being a nice guy, rather than anything about what he brought to the team in a footballing sense.
He was one of the laziest forwards I've seen in recent times, and he has some good competition with Quigley and Mullings!

Started off by working hard. More recently he hasnβt even put a shift in so I think he knew his time was up.
Clearing the decks for a few new faces. Exciting.

I shouldn't laugh too much sword. The team is getting seriously thin on the ground. Could be worthwhile taking your boots along to the next match.

Harsh but true. Such an underperformer for the club. Mind you the bench is going to be full of academy players at this rate. Surely our academy players can't be any worse than he was. Given his playing history at a higher level I guess he must have had something in the past, but whatever it was, it appears to be long gone.

To be fair he did, metaphorically, kick every ball whilst on the bench to the extent that he was more fatigued coming on to the field, as a late substitute, than the player going off. Aside, remind me who scored both of Leatherhead's goals in their 2-1 win at Wingate & Finchley last Tuesday.

Aside, remind me who scored both of Leatherhead's goals in their 2-1 win at Wingate & Finchley last Tuesday. Much easier level. There's a much bigger difference between IP and NS than most people seem to acknowledge. Because we went up through the leagues/divisions so quickly under Jay, we tend to think that there wasn't that much difference in quality/fitness/etc, but I can remember thinking that the NS was a hell of a lot harder than the IP during our first few games. I fully expected us to struggle to go any further for a season or two, and perhaps it would have been better if we had had more time in the NS the first time round. It was more a mark of how good Jay was as a manager that we got 3 promotions in four seasons, than a true measure of the differences between the leagues.

JS1 guided us thru IP,NS&NLas well as the ILSSE be4 retreating to the IP . JS2 replaced JS1 in the NLand now NS. Now JS2&HH,not JS1 are taking us from NS to NL and possibly EFLor back down to IP,ILSSE & SCE1 OR 2. OK JDL.

Slightly OT but I have one of my informants telling me Embrey done his ankle in yesterday, being forced off at HT..so any hope of a fit striker coming to us with game time under his belt is a few months off. Iβd be surprised if we donβt bring in someone on Loan soon if the injury is anything other than a few weeks worth of being out
