They don't play the same role, surely.

How difficult is it ? Surely they both tend to play as central or holding midfielders. Am I right or am I wrong ?

Well, we have the 6th best defence in the division in terms of goals against.
It would be better imo, but for the cover in front of the defence being pretty woeful too often.

Having cover in front doesn’t effect defenders leaving players unmarked in the box! Only decent defender is Hoyte. Others are not good enough. Thought 2nd half display was woeful from everyone to be honest. But Edwards exceeded everyone in this regard.

You seem to be slagging off most of our players these days, bet you are great company at matches !
Whatever, we can agree on Edwards, total rubbish, please transfer him Mr Still.
Which brings me onto our loanee 'Ibrahim Olutade' who has scored 14 goals so far this season, for a Leatherhead team in a league just below NLS.
He has impressed and delivered a great deal more than Embery who manages to keep a place in the squad. Strange.

Regardless of comparisons with Embery and Edwards, with the recent spate of injuries would now be the right time to bring Olutade back from his loan?

With the recent comings and goings, I'm not entirely sure who is in our squad.
This is my best understanding. Please correct as appropriate!
(roughly in squad number order - I think)
Jake Cole Gavin Hoyte Clovis Kamdjo (tl) Lewis Knight (tl) George Elokobi Zihni Temelci Sam Corne Ross Marshall Ibby Akanbi Justin Amaluzor Noah Chesmain Ibrahim Olutade Jake Embery (on loan) Dan Wishart Chris Lewington Iffy Allen (tl) Saidou Khan Ryan Johnson Matt McClure Cameron Williams Jacob Gilbert Danny Divine (on loan?)
tl = transfer listed

Trouble is, up to seven either always never make the starting eleven, or are only used in an emergency. They don't get a go as a sub either, in many cases. Given our fragile fitness levels, arguably, we need about 16-18 players who are effective first choices and always available.
