I know most of the cup money will rightly be allocated to last season's financial black hole, but it would be nice if the club chose to slightly subsidise a couple of coaches. Both as a reward and encouragement to fans to make the long journey. And I thought that I suffered with delusional thoughts, there is a chance they Will take away the job from Timbo and RIP each and everyone off for financial gain

Exactly. Why does the club have to pay for the coaches because JS2 and Hak wont work for nothing?

Exactly. Why does the club have to pay for the coaches I didn't say the club have to. And I didn't say they should pay for the coaches. Come back when you understand what I wrote.

Blackpool average 9175 in the league and had 5371 against Morecambe in the first round so hopefully another 5000+ gate with £40-50K in gate receipts going to the Stones. Would love a draw and a home replay, certainly not impossible. You're anticipating some expensive tickets then?
[The gate money (less expenses) is split equally between the two clubs]
Unless i totally misunderstood you & your prediction was in the rather wide range of £40 - £50,000

nah 40k to 50k, based on £20 per ticket, they may do a cheaper rate but probably not much less.

Both as a reward and encouragement to fans to make the long journey. This argument is raised everytime we have a FA Cup trip is it right for the club to pay towards the coaches? Next round there will be greater expectations. In my opinion it,s down to the individual to pay whatever the cost may be to go an support there club, not the clubs responsability. Completely agree jakeyboi, why should the club subsidise coaches to this game what about all the other away games, especially when we played in the national league with trips to barrow, Gateshead, Hartlepool etc.

You will probably find that Terry, Oliver and Bill will pay for a coach if we make it to wemberlee. It'll probably be full of football players coaching staff and directors and a few hanger onners

I agree with you 100% they shouldn't but I would bet good money that if they ran the coaches instead of Tim that they would arrange them to arrive at 14.45 and charge you an extra £5-10 for the privilege of not having a pre match drink. Anyway the coach is not an option for me as I cannot get from Tonbridge to Maidstone early enough to catch it and would also be unable to get home afterwards. If I decide to go I am looking at getting the Friday overnight coach which arrives at Blackpool at 06.30 and then get the Saturday overnight coach home arriving in London at much the same time. The cost is about £30 return plus around £15 for the train to London and back.

Well, why should they possibly choose to slightly subsidise ? So more people travel, make a louder noise from the stands, and maybe encourage a better performance, making a win or draw more likely?
