You been with my boyfriend. Not going to Dartford at home then 😘 Of course! I’m certain of another 2-2 thriller. I’ll see you and Jamie in mo mos after

Our current form is weird. Not only are we currently playing much better at home than away for the first time in years, but our away form is a 'game of two halves'. For the first 5 away games we were LWWLW - 9 points (1.8 ppg) - 6 for, 4 against (+2) But for the last 5 we were LDDLD - 3 points (0.6 ppg) - 6 for, 9 against (-3) We scored the same, but let in more than twice as many. Meanwhile, our home form (7 games) has been far more consistent - LDDWDWW - 12 points (1.7 ppg) - 14 for, 7 against (+7). Unbeaten at home for six games, unable to win away for 5... What would our away form be if games ended after 88 minutes?

It has been a curious season so far, but in a way has delivered much of what I was hoping for, namely winning at home and a decent cup run. However, the way the games have panned out is both frustrating and at times disappointing. There have been several games where we've scored four goals, but not played very well, with others where we have, but only got a draw or won by the odd goal. Equally, we have yet to put out a full strength side (based on current personnel), while promising players from last season, like Embury and Amaluzor have yet to shine. As JS repeatedly says, it is about how they play together and finding the blend isn't always easy. I also think other teams see us as a big side because we have a good stadium and plenty of support, so it seems they raise their game when they play Maidstone. Never thought we'd manage promotion this season, so not that disappointed overall, but it is certainly frustrating that we are giving away goals and points so cheaply

Despite the general disappointment about yesterday and the management team clearly blaming individual players, I think sword is probably right to point the finger. Individual errors and maybe even tactics have contributed towards points being thrown away. But only one of the regular players has regularly underperformed, even though he can hardly be blamed got the goals conceded. John and Hakan have been generous in their handling of Kwei in imo.

And Kyei too. But I like the way JS (presumably) handles Pennell ie he hauls him off at half time for playing like a pranny; he couldn't even direct his hoofs (hooves?) upfield anywhere near the pitch, let alone near Akanbi whom I assume was his target.

Could not go to the game so listened to RK. Nana was mentioned twice in the commentary both times what he did come to nothing. You cannot carry a player time and time again..

Whereas Johnson, who seems to be shouldering the blame for the second goal, was their man of the match. I didn’t think Johnson or any of the defence played badly really, until the 85th. Johnson should of done better for the second goal getting the ball away, but as mentioned Nana was pretty ineffectual. He had a few chances where he tried to do too much rather than play a pass; which reminded me of the Loza we knew before departing
