Be honest, not the tie we'd hoped for. But we can go up there with nothing to lose. Hope enough keep underestimating our great bunch of players. I'm going for a plucky draw and a replay on the old AstroTurf. Why not. I felt the same with the Cheltenham draw. What happened there?

Last time I visited, Bloomfield Road was a crumbling wreck in the urban wasteland between the beach and where real people live. Looks like it has been upgraded a lot since then.

That forum is oh-so-90s - does it really represent their fans opinions, or just a few WUMs? We have to be optimistic about this, the expectation of their fans will put the pressure on them for a result. On the downside, our guys might need to go and train on Romney Marsh beforehand as Blackpool's pitch has a dreadful reputation. On a personal and unusually selfish note, I'm hoping for a Sunday game as I'm at a concert in Nottingham on Friday and Leeds are home to Middlesbrough on Saturday (already a sell out).

Without wanting to piss on any parades, least of all my own, recent FA cup adventures have all pretty much ended in the second round, as per MKDons, despite good results in the first round. Let's hope it is different this time. Worst scenario would be we get the Monday game, after the R3 draw, which offers Arsenal away, only to then lose.

Yep, getting a winnable 3rd round draw and then not getting through would be really bad

The 2nd round basically stinks - it's just the FA's way of reducing the numbers before the big boys join in.

Of course, but at least reaching R1 and R3 are achievements in themselves. Getting to R2, especially if you're knocked out is almost pointless. Some dosh and a day out.
