If the George thing (still unresolved with no announcements?) has rattled the dressing room, we could struggle in this one and lose 2-1.
However, if we play as we have been playing, we should get three points comfortably - I'd go for a 1-3.

How long have you been watching the mighty Stones?

Lol! since 1973, strangely (hence my name?) OK I get your point. We'll be 0-1 down at halftime and at 0-1 with 15 minutes to go a wonderstrike will equalise followed by an OG and a penalty see us through. Better?

I can just edge your 1973 by a couple of years and, maybe this is true for loads of clubs, but winning comfortably is, generally, not Maidstone United's way.
Likely to be a very wet pitch tomorrow which, coupled with the slope, may well hamper our free flowing attacking style

Alas due to continued illness I am unlikely to be present and looking st the forecast I think staying away is the best option. Should the game survive the rain, and the Beveree pitch is susceptible to water logging, then I can see us winning as we have a very good record overall against H&R. I will go for 2-1 with 1200 present.

Not just rain either. 55mph plus gales forecast for Saturday morning in West London. Certainly hope George plays. Without Marshall, who has made a real difference to midfield, we can I'll afford to be without two key players. There again, another chance for the squad to show they are making genuine progress.

The forecast is 'only' light rain tonight and Sat morning, so hopefully a mud pitch can cope with that this early in the season. The wind is due to drop before 3 too, although it will still be pretty 'gusty'. Hopefully, too, 7th v 17th will mean something, even with a slightly 'weakened' side and the wind. But they've won their last three games, and two out of their last three at home, whereas our recent away formn is not brilliant - LDD. Bottom line - if we're going to do anything worthwhile this season, we're got to be able to beat sides like H&R away, even without our first choice team. So I'm going for 2-1 to us. And no doubt a nail biting final 15 mins with us just hanging on to our lead, despite everything they can throw at us...

Going to go for a nervy 1-0 win an hopefully big George will learn not to react to silly comments from other fans, we cannot afford to lose him for an period of games due to discipline issues.

Going for another 1-1.
I think we would know by now if George was missing, but I’m hoping the negativity surrounding it hasn’t undermined the good work that’s been done for spirit etc so far.

My first away game, at last!
And, sitting here, about to walk down to the stadium to get the coach, and looking out at the POURING rain, and listening to a gale blowing. A small part of me is wondering if my wife is right, and this is indeed madness...
