Thinking of going to this one by train does anyone know what the nearest station and how far away from ground?

Hampton Railway Station is located less than half a mile away from the ground. It is served by trains from London Waterloo, two per hour throughout the day on the line to Shepperton. On exiting the station turn left along Station Road. Beaver Close and the entrance to the Beveree Stadium are half a mile down Station Road on the left. Please note that Hampton Wick and Hampton Court are different stations on the network. Although Hampton Court is just over a mile away from the Stadium, Hampton is closer. www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/conference/conference-south/hampton-and-richmond-borough-beveree-stadium.html#aby-train

The Bell is the nicer of the two but a tad dear and the worlds will have more atmosphere but is known to have a few nutjobs in there though I have never had any bother. The club house inthe ground is usually very welcoming as well.

Continue walking to the end of the road & bear left you will find the Jolly Coopers highly recommended

The last time I went to Hampton was for Zac Atwood's debut. My lasting memory was of a great hotdog, but a nightmare to find a parking space. So going by train makes it a possible for me! If I knew when the match was, of course....

If you have time or want to make a day of it, that whole riverside area moving towards Richmond is pretty nice... if I remember right. Plus Hampton Court Palace is there. It’s history innit.

Is that date likely to be a FA Cup round? (should we get past Kings Langley) When do we start in the Trophy? If this game survives the above I would expect us to be running a coach

If this game survives the above I would expect us to be running a coach The date for the FA Cup 1st round is 9th Nov. That's the same date as the FAT 2nd Quali round, but I think we don't enter until 3rd Quali, so Hampton should be on

There is parking at Hamptons Beveree stadium (sic) but it is dependant on the weather! It is on the practice pitch behind the ground and is accessed up a slope that becomes a no-no if wet check with the club near the time. Parking is possible in Ormond drive but be warned many small streets nearer the ground are resident only. As Sword said it is a simple train trip either Hampton station or if you wish to explore Richmond & Twickenham are great for pubs & bus R68 to Church street is close to the ground.

FAC 1st round is 9/11 (unless you're American!) - currently Chippenham at home. Braintree away is now Tues 29/10. An October Tues evening in Braintrre - things don't get much more exciting than that...

Apparently I promised my kids I'd take them to a Dan TDM cinema thing in Bromley that day (somewhat ironically starting at 3pm).
Ho hum. My third attempt at an away game down the tubes. I'm starting to become Senokian's fantasy poster...

I'm starting to become Senokian's fantasy poster... We expect nothing else from you really. What other away games can't you make? Might as well list them all at once.
