Disappointing to concede so late, but three points would have been daylight robbery. Awful first half, marginally better second, but they were better than us throughout, and we have the defence and the woodwork to thank for the point.

But why was he playing? Can't find any info anywhere. Apparently a personal family problem. Hopefully not too distressing.

Lewington has looked poor all the game, heaven help us if he,s coaching the kids coming through the ranks, oh well get some food then drive back, at least we got 1 point Depends what report you read. KMonline describes him as calm and assured and highlights his saves during the match. Was he MoM or dismal ? Made various mistakes throughout the game Nick, always worried everytime Bath attacked, never would I say he was calm an assured maybe during the warm ups but not during the match.

So, we don't play well and win and all is well, but when we don't play well and don't win, that's a problem?
The only difference appears to be luck.

Let's hope Jake Cole is back soon. Can't have been easy for Lewington. Listening to Stones Live, didn't sound like either side were anything special, but that probably sums up this league anyway. As long as we continue to make progress, the playoffs and a cup run or two are reasonable targets. Not sure promotion is currently a good idea though. We do not yet have the money or resources to make it stick.

Which is hardly a motivational statemennt - for fans or players.

The OS has Ross Marshall playing in the no 8 shirt - is this correct?
That has been Sam Corne's number until now! .
And, while I'm asking...
The OS has Ibby Akanbi, who plays in a no 10 shirt as 21, and Ibrahim Olutade (currently on loan) as 10!
And Dan Wishart as 13 (is anyone ever 13?), when he plays at 15, and Danny Divine (also on loan) as 15.

Corne was playing last week and no reported injuries and wasn’t on that list, so another interesting plot twist. But am I right in that squad numbers in this league aren’t permanent? So if JS2 called Me and asked me to take 6, I’d duly accept and big George would step aside?

It ain’t easy, but fcuking hell lets go with the moment

No mystery with Sam, not quite recovered from injury, hopefully will be ok next Saturday. We need him. The improvement in performances that Hakan and John talk about has ground to a halt, even gone into reverse. Defence looks good in every position, but we are still a bit short of being play off quality in midfield and up front.

But, all the same, surely it makes sense to stick to them? Unless Marshall was such a late signing that we didn't have time to get a twenty-something shirt made? In which case he should appear in his 'correct' number for the next game. If not, perhaps Corne should start to get worried!

Agree with this, they could've been a couple up before we scored (beauty of a header by Johnson to just loop it over the keeper) thought we might have been able to hold on for the three but it was not meant to be. Whilst the board did say 4 minutes, some of our fans got caught with the same mentality that all the fuckwit commentators do and do not realise that this is a minimum about of time that will be added on. Shame to gift them a pen so late in the game but boy did their player take it well, no keeper saves that. As for the rest of the game neither defence looked too great, we failed with some poor final balls but they carved out more chances and posed much more of a threat going forward always seeming to have a spare man, long scrappy spells lots of silly tackles both sides and a ref who was pretty average gave free kicks both ways which were laughable and missed fouls both ways as well, I did like Marshall though made some good challenges and put himself about.

One of our fans really embarrassed himself at the end, swearing and screaming at their keeper. The keeper just laughed and who can blame him. When will these morons realise that sort of behaviour just gives the opposition amunition to wind you up even more.
