7 goals in 9 matches says it all ! No brainer. Matt is well on course for 20+ goals this season.

Good news, nice to see a player commit to the club before the transfer window an not after it.

I didn't realise any of our players didn't have contracts for at least one season.

How many strikers knock goals in for fun at one level, but are lucky to get half a dozen at the level above? Especially when the gap is as big as it is between NS and NL.
I'm sure McClure knows which side his bread is currently buttered.

Interesting that in this week's KM he says this is the first time he's regularly played for 90 minutes. Also the fact that he was played out of position for Aldershot might explain his lack of goals for them. So considering he's playing in his favoured position and not getting subbed after 70 minutes, why would he want to move on?

I'm sure McClure knows which side his bread is currently buttered. Leigh Griffiths scores goals more often than you post in the Scottish league but when he played for wolves in the prem/championship he couldn't hit a barn door. Sergei Rebrov, Vincent Jansson and Roberto Salgado all had great success with goal scoring in other leagues but signed for spurs in the prem and the goals dried up. Aldershot got Finney, Mullins and Powell who all played for us last season, we got Cole, Elokobi and McClure who all played for them last season, i wouldn't swap any of the three we have now for any of the three that they now have.
