Cedric has reappeared after going walkabout for 7 weeks and he looks fine and healthy and Malcolm is annoying the f**k out of me because he wants to watch the Carribean 20/20 24 hours a day and I wont let him so hes on a marathon squawkathon . I keep threatening to cook him for xmas dinner.

FFS. Every week. Wouldn’t it be better if we were getting humped like last season. At least your fcuking moaning would be justified. Same old tits

We looked like the stronger team from a higher division. But, boy did we ride our luck at times. The only thing that matters is being in the draw. Bring it on.

I wonder if today might have been last chance saloon for Chei. Not sure he actually contributed a great deal and looks far too lightweight. Justin did more in 20 minutes than Nana did in 70. I agree - and Amaluzor did nothing. Except fall over whenever challenged and moan because he didn't get a free kick. I suspect his head isn't where it should be. Are we still allowed to slap children in England?

Same old tits I am going to do something i have never done before I am going to jump to Nicks defence we were not good today and in the end we could and possibly should have lost and if we get o good team in the next round we will get thumped playing like we did today.

At the risk of upsetting Shammy, it's not enough that we are better than last season and we're in the 4Q.
We showed how we could play in the first half hour, and, after our second goal, HT must have been collectively shitting themselves, but then we throttled right back, lost our way completely, and very nearly gifted them a replay. Hopefully we'll up our game next Saturday, but those who think we're doing OK and just need to apply ourselves a bit more need to give Dave's back his black and amber glasses.
But leave that aside, I know I'm wrong - what bothered me more was the old chestnut of just pumping long balls up and hoping. OK, some of these just happen to land in the right place and look like clever forward passes, but the rest are just the same old, same old. We have a lot of talent in this side - skilled players in the middle, on the wings, and up front, and we play on 3G FFS. So why don't we use all this skill and talent, bring the ball down and play on the ground? When we do we look really good.
And, at the risk of getting even more stick, this appears to be mostly down to Big George. Most of the time, the rule at the back seems to be get the ball, pass it to George, and he'll thump it up the pitch (or out of the ground). No disrespect to George, he's a superb defender, and marshals the defence very well, but his constant thumping the ball forward is such a waste.
