Anyone else going by train. What time are you planning on leaving? I am going by train but alas I am on a different line to you. I am going to make a day of it and have a hobble around the South bank area to some old favourite joints that I haven't been to for many years and hoping they are still there.

More to the point - rather than discussing everyones travel arrangements (Am I the only one who finds that just a little dull?) - what about the game?
The tongue lashing the team may have got - apparently - for the Wealdstone performance should make it a spicy affair, and I expect us to be all guns blazing.
Hopefully we will have the blessings of things going our way, and no unpredicted disaster moments (stupid sendings off or a crass own goal or Dulwich wondergoal etc), and come away from Champions Hill with three points.
On that basis, and with all things going well, I think we will come away with a 1-2 or 1-3 to the Stones. COYS!

A little harsh oldboy as I am going for a day out which could be ruined by this 90 minute interlude. I didn't think we were too bad against Wealdstone, well not as bad as some have said. We are usually pretty good away from home and I see no reason that should change on Tuesday but I am afraid I will have to plump for a draw maybe 2-2.

Sorry Sword, didn't mean to sound harsh and fair play to you all who love the whole day out experience of away games. Fair point! Sadly there are much harsher comments on these threads, with very few apologies for them! Your 2-2 may be right, but whichever of us is nearest, it will be a great game, and I hope, a good night/day out for us all! COYS

If you want to be really objective oldboy, we probably need to settle for a 2-1 defeat.
In truth, a score draw would be an excellent result.
Predicting wins away from home against teams well above us in the table is a mugs game.

Anyone else going by train. What time are you planning on leaving? Blimey daveu, you were brave to post this photo. What's happened to the old Mr Grumpy image ? Nice and smiley but the years havn't been kind ! Must be all the stress and hassle of supporting the Stones

Sorry you find it boring, I was just hoping to hook up with a few others and maybe get a group saver.

1-0 to the home side. Even if George isn't fit id start Divine over Knight. I didn't see anything to make me think he was anything special. Akbani to start over Edwards, with Olutade on the bench. JE drops out completly
Would bite your hand off for a 1-1 or 2-2 showing plenty of fight.

Good point, Nick, I'm hoping for a (positive) backlash from Wealdstone carrying us through, but a draw would still be good. Mugs game? Nick, what happened to your normally optimistic outlook on MUFC? Do I need to try and find my panic button for you? I also think we are a better team than our league position currently shows, due to all that time to gel etc, so yes, realistically a draw but optimistically a win.

Very pissed off - this should have been my first game, but Mrs JDL has generously passed on the Bulgarian bug she picked up on holiday. So that's me well and truly fucked (or not).
If anyone cares, I was going by train - ME to Denmark Hill. Not a bad journey, with only one change, and - rather critically - an actual train back. And cheaper than Tim's Travel - with a Old Gits Card.
All rather pointless now. Which is not a prediction! I can see us bouncing back after Saturday's less than impressive display. 2-1 to the Mighty Stones, with 399 of us (you) there to watch.
Roll on Havant & Waterlooville - not a phrase I ever thought I'd be typing...
