Sorry Tim, didn't mean to discourage anyone, Im an old boy and was having flashbacks to the bad old days of the 70's. Just ignore me, most people do. I am sure the Wealdstone fans are tamer now and will welcome us with open arms.

Last time i went we were allowed in the club bar and had a sensible football discussion with one of the scariest looking huge guy i have seen for a while The core support are like us and love their football team It was a very good afternoon If you haven't tried the coach service i would suggest this is a good place to start as it is a relatively short journey and is a difficult place to get to via public transport.

I am sure the Wealdstone fans are tamer now and will welcome us with open arms. After the trouble we had at the home game a couple of years back everybody was expecting trouble at the away game, despite these predictions were welcomed with open arms with no hint of trouble which leads me to believe that those who came to us were not true Wealdstone fans.

These coaches are not easy to organise and take more of my time to cancel than to run Hungerford made a loss, we decided not to bother with Concord, and at the moment Wealdstone will also make a loss With many people away, we decided to run loss making coaches so people didn't drift off to other forms of transport, plus there are a few if a coach doesn't run they can't get there I'm hoping things pick up, but it stating the obvious that we cant take a hit for ever So, the last thing I need, even if it was in jest is remarks that could deter people going on a trip that both Davec and sword have pointed out is not a scary place to go Please support the coaches if you can, or we may lose them!

That wasn't a dig at anyone in particular Graham, I know you've been struggling with your foot It was just a statement of fact, that if coaches are constantly running at a loss, they wont be running for long I sure a few more wins and holiday season over things will improve

Also it's a very early start for a 3 pm kick off. Could you organise a second coach leaving later, Tim, for those of us who don't want to spend time in the pub before a match?

If you ever drove outside Kent, I might take that seriously. Plus who can remember the coach that the club organised to Harrow that left at 12, and got there at 2.55pm? I think iMUSC took over departure times after that!

As some one who frequently make the journey in the opposite direction I would say the time Tim has arranged is quite sensible. You would soon start crying if you missed kick off due to for any reason and believe me this side of London we do not need a reason to bring the M25 to a stand still. No one is forcing you to consume alcohol, get a cup of tea or coffee and read the program or the paper or have a look round. enjoy the day out
