You are 'right on the button' sword. I wish Dulwich well, they are a decent club with an interesting brand of supporters, but good on them. There is no chance that they will finish above Stones this season, but with luck they could still push for a play-off place. Good to hearing you sound more positive on Stones prospects. As for Margate, who cares ?

Only just noticed that Gate's results his season have been: 0-0, 2-2, and 3-3.
If that trend continues, there's some interesting games coming up!

As for Margate, who cares ? Never really been negative I just don't agree with our formation at home sometimes. To start 5-4-1 on Saturday was asking for trouble but thankfully by 55 minutes JS2&HH woke up and changed things for the better. I think we will end up top 5 and with the play-offs who knows all you have to do is remember the last one. The problem for me ,and you may call it negative, is that if we were to go up this year than next year I will probably miss 14-18 games because they are so far away and cost a fortune for admittance whereasif we stay down I will probably miss maybe 1-2games. Success is one thing but what is the point of supporting a team that you cannot watch.

I'm still a Hammer, but haven't seen them since they left UP. I have a friend who is totally Leeds but has seen them as often as I have (away with West Ham and in the Cup at Priestfield). Ditto an ex-work colleage, who was solid Villa (family club), but only saw them for the first time on a West Ham visit with us.
But, most extreme of all, I know a Carlisle fan who is my age and has never seen them live, even away.
See where I'm going with this?
(And not a single mention of nws...)

There is a difference between those who support a team but choose not to attend games and those who support a team but would like to attend but find it logistically and financially impossible. As I said should we go back up it is likely that I would see possibly 30/46 games played should we then go up again to the EFL,right who laughed?,then the chances are I will be struggling to afford home games as well possibly only attending 10/46 games. So yes success is good in one way and not so good in others.

Dulwich have an entire new squad, why would Maidstone finish below Dulwich? Unless the management is vastly inferior. We wont finish below Dulwich but we will certainly finish above Margate You are 'right on the button' sword. Firstly Mr Margate what would you know about NLS football you are just a shit Bet Victor side running around like headless chickens after 2 years of sniffing Bostik. Secondly why don't you take a wander down to the Tate gallery and ingest the wondrous art upon the walls it's good for increasing ones intelligence and I think you could benefit greatly by moving your IQ into double figures. Failing that thirdly you could just f**k OFF!

I don't really go in for this Maidstone and Dulwich 'love-in' but I do like their manager. I was actually hoping he was going to replace Jay when we were interviewing but that ship has sailed.

What other team wouldn’t have segregated the Dulwich vs Maidstone game when promotion was effectively sealed and let you celebrate on their pitch? Dulwich will finish above Maidstone this season unless the ownership see sense and replace the current management. I thought Steve McKimm would have been a good choice, no one else agreed. Sad face.

If Dulwich finish above us in the league so be it, at the moment we need a bit of stability in the club the past year or so has seen wholesale changes and we need to get a bit of stability and consistency just to take a breath and take stick of where we are and where we plan to be next and what and how we get there. Your suggestion that we sack our current management team from a business standpoint is down right the dumbest thing posted on here and there has been some dumb shit posted on here. The amount of money the club would lose paying out contracts etc would damn near f**k us right up financially, or seeing as you're a gate fan that's probably what you want.
