Hello people Which is the best way to go and what time do people suggest leaving to account for traffic etc? Cheers I'm going A2, not touching the M25 as the junction off the motorway onto the A2 London bound has a bad habit of long queues. Talking of bad habits I have tended to come off the A2 at the Black Prince junction and invariably moan about the traffic as I crawl along to the ground. Believe the next junction would be better.
Whilst some might suggest that with our performances of late they'd leave at any time other than Tuesday evening I'm going for 6.30 for a 45 minute journey.
May I suggest going past Danson interchage to Falconwood, turn right at the lights and over the A2, sharp turn to left then up to lights, turn right and follow to end. turn right and the ground will come up on your right

Thanks LL. I revisited the site (the trainline.com) and bizarrely its now showing £35. I’ll keep an eye on it, even at £35 that’s still pretty steep but I’ll see if it does come down at all between now and Tues AM. If you invested in a railcard for 12 months you could get it for £23.50. Have you checked how much a one day travel card is as it maybe cheaper than a straight return. I’ll check that out. I did have a railcard a few years ago when I was travelling more often by train, definitely worth it if you can use it regularly .

We now have wi-fi!! So I've celebrated by wasting half an hour working out what GREAT VALUE rail cards are (almost as much fun as footy stats...):
Typically for BR, they are all slightly different and all vary in where you can travel and when (and with whom!), but they all seem to cost £30 (or £70 for a three year one).
Anyway, two token fares Maidstone to London:
. Super Off-Peak day return - £22.54 - £14.87 with a card (saving £7.67)
. Off-Peak day travel card - £31.57 - £20.82 with a card (saving £10.75)
So, three travel cards or 4 SOPDRs and you've saved the cost of the card.
I've used cards for so long that I got quite a shock when I saw what the 'normal' price of a travel card was!

Could our team claim disability points? 10 would see us shoot up the table.

On the game, any thoughts on scores? Going for a boring 1-1 personally.

Mmmmmm my heart says a 0-2 Stones win that turns our fortunes around but my head says we will do well to get a draw, possibly an even more boring 0-0, or a 2-0 defeat as porky suggests.
After all, this is a new team that needs time to gel and to get to know each other blahblahblah. I'll be pleased when I stop keep hearing that!

Think a defeat is on the cards as they were good last season and seem to have strengthened.
