John Still has never disrespected Jay ever so I have no idea why people think he has. He has even said the spitfire should be renamed the Jay Saunders Lounge!

They talk a good game but from what I’ve seen so far I’m not impressed at all, there targets for players was a lot higher than the players now signed, this is because there actual targets don’t want to play for them.... however they wouldn’t tell you that. Wishart won’t be there for much longer, the managers don’t want him, shame as I believe his a good player. I think both managers talk utter rubbish as I know the real reasons as to why certain players from last season are not there, JS mentioned no togetherness last season.... Well if you believe a manager offering to have a punch up with his own players in the dressing room is right then the future of this club is going down hill rapidly, no wonder there was no togetherness The managers will be given there chance but I don’t see it working with a dinosaur & puppet in charge, I really hope I’m made to eat my words.... I thought the comment from JS about no plan when Jay was in charge is a insult, All the plans in place now like the U23’s is something Jay wanted and asked for but he was told no on every occasion. Jay was the most successful manager that Maidstone have had and he deserves some respect. Let’s hope this club is united as a family again this season.
Anyone else want to play "hey, lets all spot the disgruntled family of a former player posting for the first time"?

He did not say Jay had no plan he actually said there was no club structure in place. He thinks Jay did an unbelievable job in difficult circumstances which I agree with.

You should fit right in with all the negative bullshit and whining on here. Not to mention the made up grievances. I guess you must have been there when the manager threatened to punch a player, or are you just repeating someone else's third hand gossip, another reason why you'll fit right in.

Glad there is limited segregation as to me chatting and having drink with away supporters should be part and parcel of the match day experience, although had to laugh when Terry said that for the Billericay match a certain ex manager may also have to be segregated.

Put him in a cage. He’ll be protected from nasty fans and also he deserves to be locked up for what he did to MUFC.

Well for a first post you have done well but for the last line it was well written but a club United as a family well that depends on the family,if it's the Waltons we will have a good season but it will all go horribly wrong after the second set of adverts. Now if it wad my family we would al be looking foreward to next year in the Bostik . Mr Sutts may be right about the JS/Hak struggle to get players - that was my summer panic - but I hope he is wrong, and I hope I was too!. He may be right about Wishart not staying though.
The Managers don't talk rubbish, they just have to be very diplomatic and they don't HAVE to tell us everything - just enough to keep us on board, and JS2 is still on the ball, although I do still worry about Hak, who even last night seemed more interested in his mobile phone than listening to the proceedings - unless of course he was communicating with a red hot new signing!
JS2 didn't insult Jay, he complimented him for his achievements, and I think John's comments were more about the GENERAL lack of structure of the club which Jay also wanted in place but didn't get (sadly).
If only JS2 and JS1 could have worked together (sigh)! Moving on though, the club did feel more like a family again last night, albeit on their first night sharing a house together!
Totally agree with the last line. Imagine JS2 as a Director of Football sorting out the structure and JS1 just getting on with the job of managing the team (sigh)!

Do we need to clarify who JS1 and 2 actually are? Many refer to Jay Saunders as JS1, but as John Still was first, shouldn't he be JS1? Gosh, what fun.

Slightly off topic, but for anyone yet to get a shirt, the sizing is pretty much the same as our last ones.
The material is slightly different (Better IMO) and is slightly less loose than before.
