Christmas / New Years games against our friends at Tonbridge Angels sandwiching a home game vs Dulwich make this coming Christmas one to savour ! Tasty! And Angels away is SO much more inviting than Stalag Dover.

Latest: Havant put in a late bit and now have exclusive access to the fixture list. The FA have asked other clubs to be ready to travel (or not) 5 hours before kick off. each Saturday and nominated Tuesdays. Havant will then contact the club they are playing that day/evening at least 4 hours before KO. If clubs have not heard from Havant by the deadline, they should then contact all the clubs they haven't yet played and arrange an appropriate fixture for that afternoon/evening. The FA appreciates that this may cause difficulties for supporters, so suggests that supporters toss a coin before each game, and either go to their home ground at the appropriate time, or travel to any club of their choice their team haven't yet played on the off chance that they may be lucky. The FA apologises if this causes supporters any problems, but points out that it's not really that much more bizarre than many of their previous decisions. And also that they don't actually care anyway. Was the chemist closed when you went to pick up your 💊 today? I bumped into Sword...

Bath away in October will do nicely for a family long weekend in a town my wife has always wanted to see. The main disappointments for me are Dulwich away and Welling away on Tuesday nights, both fixtures I had earmarked for a visit, but now both needing time off work.

Billericay at home - so near to Halloween. Will clown masks be in abundance?

Home game for you Boxing Day Sword Boy o boy are they asking for trouble with these 2 games at Xmas and new year especially over hear on boxing Day. Will have to change my Xmas plans to be here as I had planned on spending it down on the coast. Taking over the Beerseller as mentioned by another poster would be brilliant but I have an idea Mr Plod will close all the pubs prior tothe match. Weymouth at home would have been better away and Dulwich on a Tuesday is unfortunate but will still be a sell-out I think. On quick perusal I cannot see a game that I have an excuse to miss so much better than the 300+ mile hauls up the M6 & M1 .October 26 is national clown day and tbere should be plenty of IT masks about at that time . All in all looks good ,can't wait.

Let' shope the new squad play better football than our attempts last season otherwise it will be a very long weekend.
