Well supporters seem sorry to lose him and think Stones must have "splashed the cash".

1....2....3....4....5....6....7....8....9.....and breathe Thank you for your concern woodstone but my breathing is absolutely fine, as I believe is my fair assessment of our current situation. Good to see you can count! I think our key recruitment struggle may have been in getting FT players to commit to NLS. When we have a squad and the dust has settled maybe the owners or management will admit to what the struggle was or maybe the last batch of signings will be so good we won’t care! Hopefully the latter😊 Ha, I can count to 10 anyway! 😃 Who knows why or even if there are struggles?! We just don’t know what’s going on. I wouldn’t sweat it. John Still is a very experienced man.

We know just a little of what's going on through the odd crumb thrown from he table.
And it seems clear enough that it has been a bit of a struggle at times, with some disappointments on the way.
Perhaps it was always likely to be thus !
The old chestnut about F/T and P/T still gets raised now and then from supporters.
It is pretty obvious that FT attracts players that want FT contracts and discourages those who don't.
Pros and cons but on balance it easily works in the club's favour.

Let us not forget that within our region we are not the only club going through a rebuilding phase, so we have to try an be an exciting prospect for players, but other clubs may have smaller crowds but have larger bank balances to attract players with.

Yes totally agree with Nick and Jakeyboi it does indeed seem to have been far more competitive and difficult to sign players than I think any of us anticipated - including probably our management. We are getting there - slowly- and what we have looks good so I am looking forward to next season. COYS!

Apparently we would be hearing of a couple more signings any time soon.

I just hope that NLS referees aren’t scared by him as well and blow up against him when he gets anywhere near a poor little NLS striker!

Not of referees. I always expect them to be rubbish and they always are.

The last two seasons with refs was as much how bad they were as the ability of NL players to con them. It was obvious from off the pitch, so why they couldn't see it on the pitch is a mystery. We can only hope that NLS players are less streetwise, a euphemism for cheating less, perhaps.

I don’t remember the refs in the Ryman or NLS being bad at all! I only noticed it in the National Prem. I could be wrong. The poisoned dwarf we had in the play off final was one very noticeable exception! Total hammer
