I'm glad he's back at National level, but sad that he's playing against us.

I really hope he can make it back to somewhere near his old level of energy and skill. Dartford taking a gamble but hope it pays off for Flish.

I'm assuming I have got the 'wrong end of the stick' ? Jay Saunders takes a long hard look at Flish's performances and decides to release him from Margate. Then he gets a contract to play in a higher league with Dartford. I guess I'm missing something.

I think there is an element of that ,but probably just as much that there is not the budget next season to afford the likes of Flish. JS can probably get two younger players (and prob less injury risk) for the price of Flish. Pity-as with his injuries-we never got to see much of Flisher-and hope it works out for him at dartford

Flisher can be awesome again all it will take is somebody standing near the goal waving a pint if lager and shouting "all yours Flish come and get it" and providing he takes the ball with him he would be unstoppable.

Not just the lager, Flish had a real passion for the Gallager pies as well. Quite right too they are great.

Personally when you look at Flisher,s record with Margate he,s not been a massive success has he, it,s a big risk by Dartford as he,s very prone to injuries and I dont think he will be able to maintain the standards required at this level over a whole season. Said many times before he will make a good impact sub but thats a luxury many clubs cannot afford.

Stop dissing a legend. If he left the Gate because he was paid too much and cost too much in injuries and Darts can afford both he may come to JWW and turn us over.
I would have taken the chance with him as at least a super sub and for his long throws- Jamie Coyle obviously agrees!
Trouble is JS2 and HH don’t know him. Darts fans will be loving it just because he was a Stones legend!
Not good all round for us, but great for Flish who may well set NLS alight again. Or not!

Surely it's time to move on and stop pining for players that are no longer with us, after all he was offered a deal with us and turned it down, and moreover, hasn't played a full season since. Definitely not worth the risk.

Even the mighty Flisher cannot throw the ball into the box from the Brenchley especially as he will have a pint in his other hand .
