Here I go being impatient again. Anyone heard when this may be announced? There was a competition towards the end of last season, so guess which former strip I went for?
My second choice would be the stripey arms kit we had in NLS before as it has the best memories, but that's too nostalgic and people like me will just dig out those shirts and not buy the new ones!
As long as we don't make our away strip the home strip.

The club will not make the away kit the new home kit because lots of people already own it. It will be a new kit so that means another £40 plus for every one to get plus the kids shirts.

But what kit do we want to see? Should we go all hoops and become Bees like Barnet, just for JS2? Or go all black with a bit of Amber, or all Amber with a bit of Black? Do we care?

It makes no difference to what you or I want it will be down to the club an they will want a kit that almost every fan will buy at £40 a go an earn them bundles of extra cash.

What we need is players who can play, in whatever kit we have

Football kits are like players they cost you 10 times more than they are worth

Main difference with the new strip will be a lack of player's names, presumably. Given we've got used to them being anonymous this season, that shouldn't be too hard then...

I think after last season it should be all black with one Amber diagonal as lets face it last season was very black.

I will not be wasting my money on a new shirt when there is nothing wrong with my old one. I have better things to waste my money on

I will not be wasting my money on a new shirt when there is nothing wrong with my old one. I have better things to waste my money on Wow - what a wave of enthusiasm for our new strip!
Come on, you'll all be just like me. We wear the previous seasons shirt in protest against spending out again at the friendlies and the first home league games, until we see the swathes of new shirt wearers across JWW grow steadily, and then before Christmas the new shirt is either on our list for Santa or we have already bought it ourselves out of guilt and shame that we aren't a real supporter.
Unless (of course) the new strip is an exact replica of the beautifully classic 1973 kit, I will probably start off wearing our previous NLS play off winning shirt with stripey sleeves as my anti £40 protest until I capitulate when we start winning games in the new strip.
For me last seasons stripes symbolise our NL disaster, so I cant bring myself to ever wear that particular shirt again, apart maybe from when I am shovelling sh*t in the garden!

I actually really like last seasons shirt in spite of all the negative associations with it. Just wish it wasn't quite so long. In fact the only recent shirt I've disliked was the ICOM one, and that was only because of the horrible rubbery sponsor's logo.

Absolutely we should go retro - the 1973 kit that is my forum piccie!
Failing that, the 1978-81 kit is good too. Reminds me of Kinnear, Hill, Edwards, Newson, Aitken, Daubney, Woon, Ovard and...........best of all...........beating the Gills in the FA cup at Priestfield in 1980.
Happy Days!

Christ it looks dated though. Maybe a modern take on the same thing, but not an exact copy, we don't want to look like a 70s/80s throwback.
