Natural for us to concentrate on Tonbridge, but has anyone stopped to consider the possibility of Met Police in the NS?
That's just plain bizarre.

No. If Tonbridge win that play-off we'll never hear the end of the fact they'll be playing us next season and then we'll have to put up with the ridiculous nonsense and tension that always surrounds our derbies with them.

On the other hand, we'll have gone from playing Orient and Tranmere to having an away day at Met Police...

Met police ceased being a works team many years ago and the only coppers you are likely to see will be on the terraces spoiling everyone else's day. As for local derby if the M25 behaves itself you can get to the Met in around 50 minutes whereas if you get the A26 on a bad day it can take you that long to get to Tonbridge.

If you have ever experienced our games against Scumbridge you wouldn't be looking forward to the prospect of us playing them. 1. You should know to well just how terrible we are in local derbies 2. We never ever beat them in the league 3. Whenever we visit them it seems to attract the scum of society 4. Whenever they visit they hardly bring any fans As far as I'm concerned I hope the Plod give them a good hammering

The idea of a local derby seems attractive enough but most of the decent Tonbridge fan base seemed to disappear into the ether when it came to matches in the past. Just left a small, fairly unpleasant bunch of supporters with attitude. So on balance would prefer to see the old plod get promoted.

Having lived in Tonbridge for 18 months now,not by choice I might add,I can confirm that like most places 95% of the people are wonderful people and then there is the 5% of dickheads who spoil it for everyone else and its this 5% that would turn up against us. You can also meet them personally if you drink in the GATE pub where they congregate. As i have said i live 500 yds from the ground and pop down when i have nothing better to do though i would rather go to Tun Wells if they are home, but i would like to reassure any of you that think i may be turning in to a blue belly scumbag that i hate them with a passion.COME ON YOU MET POLICE BOYS .
