Bloody hell, this is depressing. Is there anything worse than getting relegated and then having to play 3 teams from the league you've just left?
Bring on the good times and announce Sevenoaks away, baby!

It’s a bit like bullseye this pre season, here’s what you could of won!

People say they are just a formality to get the team fit and playing together, but just look at the crowds when we had Palace at home (even though that all turned out to be a farce - thanks De Boer!). A big team at home would always bring a welcome bit of revenue and attract possible new fans to the club, so I don't know why we always appear so underwhelmed to try something a bit different.

I think if there was ever a time to grab attention with a sexy pre season fixture it’s this season. We need to get a buzz and interest in visiting the Gallagher early on, buying into the 50/50 fan heavily. Yes we’ve sold 800 STs and that’s great, but the on the day fan is really going to make a difference. We won’t be getting sexy averages of 23-500 most Saturday games I suspect, and we saw the attendance understandably drop the season just gone.
Even with Wokings league position their gate was some way down on the previous season. Last season Welling for example played Charlton and Millwall, and whilst not the full first team they still contained decent starters, eclipsing our mighty Notts Forest u23 fixture.

Most of the big premier teams go abroad to play friendlies to increase their revenues, the only teams we could realistically play would be reserves from Spurs, millwall, Charlton, qpr, palace, Brentford First teams from Orient, Colchester, Southend, Crawley, Dagenham, Dover, Sutton, Wimbledon, Luton.
