So now we are done and dusted it leaves Saturday to do other things. I will be attending the SE Counties cup final between Corinthians fc and Chatham Town fc 14.00 at Tonbridge Angels Fc. There are a fair few ex stones players in the Chats side so it should be interesting. Anyone heading this way I will be in the BEERSELLER on Tonbridge High street around midday and your company would be welcome. So that is me what are you lot up to on Saturday? Tonbridge are in the Bostik Premier play-off final at Longmead on Monday, if anyone fancies popping along to support the opposition

Why not use a rod like other anglers?

Been offered a free ticket to Charlton/Rochdale so will be going to that. Charlton are such a big name in football they deserve some success so maybe this is their year to go up and hopefully keep the Mackems down. The sad thing is my sisters season ticket for next season in League 1 or the Championship will be cheaper than watching Maidstone in the National South.

Where abouts do you go Phil, we do prefer a nice river bank somewhere but do visit a few lakes across Kent during the close season.

James bond play on radio 4 at 2.30pm, hopefully good weather so i can listen to it in the garden with a few beers Well I could not get out in the garden, but listened indoors with a few jim beams instead And I didn't get to the football as I was sitting in the Beerseller watching the rain, sleet, snow, hail and kitchen sink hammering it down I thought to myself get soaked or another Gadds no.5, it was a no brainer. A couple of hours later I wandered into Ye Olde Chequers Inn by Tonbridge castle and bumped into my old Margate byddy Ian who had attended the game and it turned out that i missed a classic with Corinthian taking a 2 goal lead only for a Paul Vines inspired Chatham Town to storm back and nick the trophy 3-2. After a quick bite to eat I finished my evening at the Royal Oak listening and head banging to rock covers band STONE COLD SOBER who put on an awesome 3 hour spectacular which was all the more impressive for the fact that the lead singer /lead guitarist is 75 years old and had to disappear quickly afterwards for his 0700 flight to Turkey. I got home at 01.45 having spent more money than I can ill afford but for once in a long time I didn't care. Roll on the STUKA CATS next Saturday and a possible play off if the Mangels scrape through today.

Sword if you want to do wildlife spotting then there is a spoons in Chatham that you can sit outside of enjoying a few bevvies whilst you see all kinds of weird things making various noises walking past, many are not yet known in terms of species.
