Mitch, sho, nortei and diarra must be given a good look at Imo. The rest no thanks. I remember in our 1st season in the National league Diarra was awsome in our game at Barrow. Was a threat in both boxes. He seams to have lost his way abit now and I don't think he is a John Still type of player.

We need a fresh start, not Dover cast offs "Make a fresh start"? You've been watching too many episodes of Eastenders lol. As we were relegated to NLS, I'd be interested to know where you expect all of our 'fresh' new players to come from if we aren't considering released players from the league above who have some pedigree. Our management aren't going to dismiss the idea of signing players like this because they are 'cast-offs.' Unless you sign untried youngsters, these are the types of players you're going to get. So you want half the Dover team and create a little clique in the dressing room.

Also, a team who finished 14th, 26 points ahead of us, are going to have a few players good enough to play for us in the league lower.

Probably because they finished 26 points ahead of us aevery player they released would walk into our side. Yep and then they would keep walking whilst others ran rings around them. The ones that walked out on us I don't want back, bastards. The others ,well if they were any good they wouldn't be leaving the Crabble. A fresh start with fresh players is needed not a bunch of old Judases. If this is the height of our expectations next season then I will forget about the season ticket and you can forget about promotion

Also the difference in standard between National South & National is so big that any of of the released players from Dover would be top quality NLS players. Id happily sign Walker, Diarra and Nortei Nortey from Dover.

If it takes 2 or 3 seasons so be it. At least we could mould a team that is a team and not a bunch of journeymen mercenaries just picking up theirs wages. COYS

COYS I know what you are saying sham, but realistically if we are going to make a serious attempt to bounce back to NL at first time of asking (which we are), we will also need experience and quality too, which makes the Dover options of Diarra, Sho and Nortei interesting. We cant expect a team of Jake E's to sail back into NL - as you say yourself, that takes time - but we are going for it next year!

I'd rather do it Sham's way - a few seasons in the NS, building a team that will stay together and play together in the NL. Go straight back up with a bunch of NL mercenaries, too good for the NS, and we'll come straight back down again. All the pain of this season will have been wasted, if we learn nothing from it.
