Stop hankering after the past everyone. We must NOT look at ANY former players - I thought that had been made pretty clear on this forum!
Even to suggest it brings ridicule that you want Shaun Welford, Steve Butler or whoever is the oldest player anyone can think of to sign.
Also, we are so slow at signing anyone, and with no JS1 anymore, I very much doubt if any formers would want to join anyway.

You are right oldboy, player recruitment has been a tad slow so far.
Makes you hanker back to those halcyon days of Harry Wheeler who announced multiple signings on a daily basis.

Possibly. Have always felt there are lots of players happy with part time, who are better than the lower ranked full timers - as we discovered last season. Makes having an U23 team questionable too, as these are surely the players we want in our first team, plus a few with experience as well.

I think we are struggling because of just that.
Miss out on the good players who want to be part time, and can’t offer enough to compete with Ricay and others for full time salary.

How about I put an end to this thread altogether. We don't want anyone who used to play for this club playing for us now its a new era ,new namesand no old has beens. f**k anyone who used to play for us. Viva the revolution.
