The building and opening of the genco stand
Beating the G**l's twice
Firstly finally seeing a permanent scoreboard (just a shame about the results)

Beating Wrexham away 3-1 on Good Friday in our 1st season.
At home, coming from behind to beat Macclesfield 2-1 with a last gasp winner after Worgan had saved a penalty.

Beating Ebbsfleet away in the play-off final. Well the proper season had ended, so I'm claiming it, as it's the result that has kept me going over our NL career.

Chesterfield away 2 weeks ago . Excellent pub ,majestic beer Good company both home and away fans. The stewards were top class,no search before the game. The stadium is one of the best in the division if not the best and to top it off a cracking game of football. Lincoln city away for all the above reasons Cannot think of anything at home that has got me excited in the last 3 years though it has felt like 103 years.

Woking away first season in this league. Beating Leyton Orient in the FA Cup was one of the few exciting moments this season.

Yemi's winner to keep us up is the one for me. Me too. I enjoyed the whole first season, even the bad bits, but that was the best moment. The look of sheer joy in Yemi and Tom's faces as they celebrated the goal was totally at one with how we felt watching it go in. It's a mark of what went wrong afterwards that I can't remember another moment like that, or even approaching it. There were moments of excitement and joy, but never again the whole team and crowd as one like that.

Southport away that first season, when that groundsman was really rude in the way ha asked us to take down our flags in front of the advertising stands.
We moved them and then stood infront of the advertising stands blocking the view.

It's a mark of what went wrong afterwards that I can't remember another moment like that, or even approaching it. There were moments of excitement and joy, but never again the whole team and crowd as one like that. Now come on LLCoolJ, your memory must be as "bygone age black and amber" tarnished as mine - as we know from so many other posts - part time players cannot possibly play with such passion in a full time league as you describe Millsy and Yemi having in that first NL season when we were a passionate part-time club punching above its weight and getting results and staying up.
No wooden spoon for us that year!
But that is all, of course, as much ancient history as John Still's previous time at the club and so therefore isn't relevant to anything, is it now!
It was much more fun though - true non-league, which may posts have said is actually more fun than the NL circus. That's why I still have a concern about us still being FT in NLS after, as LLCoolJ says, after that first season, and, in my view, when we went FT, it was never really the same. I hope I am proved wrong, of course, and we have a great FT NLS season!
In Bill, JS2, Hakan, Simon, Chris, Anwar and that Tom Cobley chap and all...............we trust!

That lucky late Lokko winner at B Wood (1st season) was a good one. But it's not exactly been a bundle of laughs the last 3 years.
