Cannot remember another season, where not one single final day match made any difference at all to anyone in terms of promotion, play offs, relegation etc. (Except Salford who needed to win and Orient lose, and wipe out a four goal difference.

Phillips was my 2nd choice but he didn’t look interested today. Still can’t believe how Blair didn’t win the award to be honest! In fairness my friend I didnt think any of them looked that interested in the game. I can’t argue with that!

Word has it Oliver Ash will still be campaigning for 3G pitches in the league. You've made this joke a dozen times now. It's still not funny. Give it a rest, mate.

Convinced with each of the two long distance shots; that dribbled out near the corner flag, from Jack Powell, cost us a couple of goals today. A player clearly desperate to score a screamer. I seem to recall he announced his ambition was to earn a football league move, must have the same agent as Shamir Mullings!
This is ofcourse, no different to what we have been accustomed to making of the limited chances we have created all season. It can only get better! Hoping for play-offs next season.

Unfortunately the tone was set when the squad was put together last summer. A considerable number of players who started the season in our squad were not up to National League standards. The only decent performance under Jay was D&R away, the rest of his games showed this limitation. Harry tried to hurry through changes but Blair's injury knackered him (Shame!). I felt we had a chance under Walton and the other guy, player morale and team spirit picked up. But it's been knocked on the head with The Comic Duo coming in and rather self-righteously claiming they're going to re-build, immediately sinking the morale and spirit. It was obvious from their attitudes that they didn't want these players, so what does that do to the team? Blair's return produced some decent performances and goals from him, but no improvement in results or performances at all.
OK, they get their own players in during summer, replacing most of the current squad. Considering the results they had at Barnet and Braintree respectively, maybe it's just as well we are down. It will be more pleasant watching fairly equally-matched games, enjoying a pint in the stands and appreciating HH's Bostic-level tactics played by slightly more talented JS2 recruits from West Brom, et al.
Mid-table at best, but still worth the Early Bird to support our local team.

Didn't go, but just seen the highlights, though that term is somewhat over optimistic. Two fine strikes from the Shots, a couple glaring misses from Romain. Was that it? As for a crowd of 1900, unless they were standing ten deep in front of the main stand, that figure, as usual, looks more than a slightly exaggerated.

HH said his post match interview he wants the next bunch of players to share his passion.
If from what we’ve seen of him so far is him showing passion for the club we really are up against it. Granted I don’t see what goes on in the dressing room, but from what we saw of Tristan he had passion and it was rubbing off on us as wel as the fans. I’d bet HH version of passion is more a Stuart Lear e style, shouting at people.
