I'll be suprised if anyone stays beyond the ones we know who already are contracted. They are simply all putting a bit more effort in as they want to take a phone call about next season.

You can't blame players for wanting the best for themselves, we'd all do the same, I'm sure. Love the end of the article about giving away his KSC medal to a young fan - that shows a degree of commitment to the support which you might not expect.

First of all our ship is not sinking it has sunk. Secondly if you want to see the rats just walk down Rose Yard between Earl Street and the High street you'll see dozens of them in and around the bins. Thirdly i cannot blame anyone who wants to leave as you have to make the most of what is a relatively short career in football . Finally we won't really miss most of them so good riddance to what has been mostly rubbish all season.

Confucius he say "If the ship is sinking, maybe the rats have a point".
If they don't want to play for us, do we want them to play for us, though?

Personally I would only want players who are willing to give all there efforts an sweat blood an tears for the best for the club. If any player wants to leave then based on this current season I,d pay for the taxi to the station.

"On this day" on FB brought up Wrexham away from 2 years ago the other day. What Flisher did for the equaliser - that's wanting to play for the shirt. Still astounds me now.

Unfounded gossip and criticism based on the head coach's use of the odd cliche in his post match interviews. Welcome to the most pointless post of the century.

Yes there should be a kind of 'Flish Index' to judge how much a current player cares. Watch a player's efforts this season and compare that to what we used to see from Flish.

Flish was the epitome of the passionate part timer I was hoping we would go back to in NLS next year but apparently according to some that is a stupid idea that just doesn’t hold water . Funny, as it worked before three times in four!

Can't think of one of the lot we ended up with who deserves even half a Flish. One or two of those who we got rid of because they weren't good enough and we needed HOPE* would have made more than that on the Flish scale, even maybe a whole Flish, but none of the ones we ended up with. *Bitter? Moi?

In fairness to the other players of that era it wasn,t just Flisher who put in great levels of effort. Every single one of them would of bled "Black&Amber" back then.

Surely the evidence shows that things started to go wrong when we went (almost) full-time. NLS should be a part-time league???
