Whether or not John Still rates him, the evidence has been shown on the pitch since January 26th. Have a look at the results (let's not think about the performances that we've witnessed). He's not up to the job. Sorry to disagree with you. Oh! And "so out of order!" eh? It is perfectly within order to apply criticism and want of riddance to a management team (it's always "we") who, the evidence suggests, have proved themselves incapable of organising a group of proven footballers to perform as a team sufficiently to provide performances and results that justify the expectations we should have as wage-payers. If the instant assumption upon this management team's arrival was that we are going down anyway, then, considering that decision was made on January 26th when we were not bottom and out of range, I think it's a scandal. A scandal which affects not just the supporters' satisfaction and the club's finances, but also the morale and futures of the players. Perhaps there will be a revolution in the influence and playing style of the management team in the lower league next season. I very much doubt it, am willing to eat my words and apologise if it does happen. But if the way the present players have reacted to this regime's influence is anything to go by then why should new recruits from the sainted scouting system do any better? Worrying times. I think you are wrong Wolvestone, I think nick is wrong and I know I am wrong in fact I think everybody is brimming over with wrongability. Terry is wrong as is Oliver and as for Bill well he i s so wrong it hurts . Theresa May is wrong ,so is nws and not to mention Suzi she is wrong,er sorry that should be Suzi is Wong, talking of which Jonathan Woss is Wong . I think China should enter the Eurovsion Wong contest and that team from Surrey should re-isert the k&I in there name.

HH and JS2 are as pissed off with this awful group of players as the rest of us. We have used 60 players and HH/JS have only brought in a couple of them. The major surgery conducted by the clown has tied their hands. This is not their squad. I feel confident about next season.. The one thing i would like to see from our fantastic owners at the end of the season is a heartfelt apology for appointing Harry Wheeler. WHY? At the time of his appointment the owners felt that this was the best route for the club, a route that they had taken before by appointing an inexperienced young coach, with a certain degree of success. Wheelers initial communications with the fans seemed positive, however his application to improve the team failed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but i don't feel the owners should issue an apology, they took the decision to appoint a young hungry coach who ticked all the boxes for what they wanted, he just failed to deliver. It's time to move on, i can't work out for the life of me why some of our fanbase keep harping back to things that cannot be changed. We have a head of football and a manager who inherited a bunch of players brought in under multiple regimes, many of which are not good enough for this level and they have tried to plug the voids in the squad with short term loans, mainly as no one good enough to make a difference was going to be available at that stage of the season Anyone who thought that still and hakan would keep us up with the squad we have had this season is kidding themselves, our recruitment from last summer throughout this whole campaign has been abysmal, hence the other thread where people are finding it difficult to name a decent starting 11 from the 50/60 players used this year.

Fair enough re no need to apologise but we have not had an explanation of why the club produced a very clear job description which stated we were looking for a manager with NL experience and then totally ignored that and went with a Bostik level manager. As we have been relegated and the season has been a complete disaster i feel that is a fair question to ask. Others may disagree.

Why do you feel the need to keep harping on about appointing the clown? It was not the original intention. The owners were mugged by the Wheeler Dealer's clever sales pitch. There was nothing malicious or dishonest done. It was a massive mistake. Everybody knows that the owners got it wrong. Terry and Oliver more than anybody. Time to give it a rest.

I,ve said all season long that the owners should of come forward an offered maybe not an apology but certainly an explination over the way the club has failed so badly this year. The blame for the filings are shared amongst the owners, Saunders Wheeler. Other managers have not been there long enough to earn any blame. The owners seem to be very lucky this season considering we are relegated we are all very keen to purchase our ST in aid to support the club financially even before we know what quality of players will be brought in, and let,s be honest has anyone heard the owners say they will be going all out for instant promotion next year or will they be "contented" to sit in the NLS for a few seasons and just hope we as fans continue to buy the ST an carry on regardless. I hope that as we move forward from this mess the owners grace us with a little more honesty in return for our loyalty.

I think we know the answer; money. It looks as though TC has been saving it wherever he can since last summer, as promotion to the EFL was never going to happen once the 3G argument was lost. So why pile loads of money into the team at NL level to no purpose?

Old Terry came out with a bizarre statement that he expects us to win the National South next season because we will have a budget 3 times more then everyone else.

Trouble with Terry is that he needs to engage his brain before he opens his mouth, because he is starting to make himself look really silly. Shame coz he is an ok sort of bloke.

Having just watched the highlights, it only confirmed what was already clear. We weren't just bad, we were pathetic. Credit to Braintree though, they made an effort and their second goal was a great bit of vision from their keeper - just hope Jack Richards isn't suffering from the double variety having been clattered by Lewington. Fine finish for that goal too.

It annoys me that Jack Richards is thought of as so worthless by the club and 80% of its fans having been given so little opportunities but for a midfielder/forward why was he our last defender or more to the point where were the people who were supposed to be there. Well the moaners can be pleased that he is undoubtedly will miss the last 2 games so that we can replace him with someone who doesn't give a shit about the club.

Forget about the owners apologising, I think a good gesture would be the return of Iggy
What happened to him anyway?

Richards is the type of player (local and loyal) that we need, in the NLS, this league or lower. I fear the Comic Duo will be producing a merry-go-round of aspiring Premier/Championship apprentices masquerading as a squad for the near future. Maybe this just applies to JS2. Surely HH can't be there much longer. If he's going to stick around, it'll be in the Bostic.

The problem with the NS, is that we have experienced the NL, so it will (probably) seem quite a step down. Which means that many fans will expect us to at least make the playoffs. Anything less will feel like a failure.
And the logical extension of being in the playoffs is winning them. So we are are trapped in a sort of catch 22 - we probably need a season or two in the NS to get ready for the NL again, but, if we're any good at all, we'll likely be in the playoffs. And then what do we do - try to lose them?
And if we're not good enough for the playoffs, then the moaning about this season will seem as nothing.
Anyone who doubts this should consider Torquay and Woking - what would we have thought of them if they hadn't at least made the playoffs?

It has been disappointing that JS2 and HH haven't been able to improve performances. Whatever Hakan claims, the team seems no better and probably no worse than at other times over the season. Arguably the best performances were over the mini month that Simon and Tristan took charge, nothing brilliant, but we have not seen better since. We have seen clear outs following clear outs of players and the answer for next season seems to be more of the same, another major clear out. But in truth, there is no other choice because we are where we are and it is not where we want to be. So we have to have faith and support John and Hakan. Expectations will be high amongst supporters and rightly so in my view. The dynamic duo have not been appointed to stablilise the club as a mid table team in the NLS. A play-off place must be an essential target for the club, anything less will constitute failure imo.
