Sums up our season..lose when it matters and win when it doesnt. Swaine is coming good though and will be a big plus next season. Has he got a contract for next season then??

Let’s try and look at players performances over the season! We have a squad that on its day can pull off some great performances!
Muldoon has in the past two seasons had 3 bad games for every one good one! Walton has in my opinion been bad 90% of the time! Swaine came with a good rep, but has not had a long run in the side, but should be a very good as NLS CB. Powell has been all or nothing at Millwall, Eddsfleet and now at Maidstone! A luxury player. And I expect expensive. Wishart, all or nothing, usually nothing! Amaluzor, showing he could be very affective next year.
I could go on, but most players we currently have are inconsistent. We need to cherry pick the Swaines and Amaluzors and trim the Muldoons and Powells. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how the squad is trimmed and re built between now and the start of next season.
6 points taken from Barnet is quite funny tho 😂

Played much better after the injuries to Walton and Cassidy. I just hope HH noticed.

With players of a more consistent level could have been be mid table. For next season we need players who give 7/10 performance week in week out not 4/10.

Barnet should have buried us first half but let us get back into the game by degrees and gave us the time to do it. Amaluzor was exciting, Powell and Wishart battled well Swaine played well and HH was very animated. Shame we didn’t play Embery and Richards and the Donnellan ns and stuck with players we will never see again but a home win was a treat. I may go to Bromley next week after this.

Not able to go, so can only comment on the team sheet. No Taylor - good. No Embrey, other than warming the bench, or Richards. Why? Better when Walton and Cassidy went off - not surprised. Both have been pretty ineffective of late, especially Cassidy, who hasn't contributed much since his return. Poor service maybe? Amaluzor - starting to show promise and getting goals can only help. Lewington - has to be better than Henry, but needs to decide on his role for next season. Is he a coach or a keeper? A keeper who is coaching himself seems daft. Overall, looking at how the season has panned out, we have proved capable of beating those around us in the 'form table' of the time and did ok against most lower league opposition. On paper, that suggests we should cope next season in the NLS. Whether we prosper or not depends on how HH and JS build a new team. Also, by no means sure we want to be back in the NL any time soon. We clearly lack the money and infrastructure at the moment.

HH very muted in his post match interview. Didn't seem at all happy. Something/nothing?

HH very muted in his post match interview. Didn't seem at all happy. Something/nothing? Who knows? One of the many things the club has lacked this year is transparency since Jay left. Your guess is as good as mine.
Hopefully when we have a new squad in a new kit with a few NLS wins under our belt the Management and the owners will feel free to open up again with the fans. I hope!

He HAS to be on the offload list with everyone except for Jake, Justin, Jack, The Donnelans, Lewington (If he makes his mind up!) and maybe Swaine and Romain, who may have better joy with NLS defences.
Love to keep Phillips WDH and Turgott and even Powell for NLS but cant see it happening. Edebor I like too but where was he last night? The rest can go, including Walton, unless he is a genuine help to HH on the coaching side, but his playing days are clearly long behind him, even at this level.

Don't disagree with you oldboy but I would be a bit more positive about Swaine and Romain, particularly in NLS. Bit worrying that Taylor and Walton are still getting selected regularly despite being well off the pace. Hoping that JS2 can smell the coffee.

Walton was poor when he was on the pitch; the team played much better after he went off. Cassidy has been disappointing since his return from Hartlepool; another improvement when he was replaced by Romain.
Several candidates for MOTM including WDH, Swaine, Powell & Amaluzor. Phillips showed why he should be a regular starter. I disagree with most of the comments about Taylor; he does a lot of work that doesn't get fully appreciated, rarely loses possession and his experience shows. I would keep him for next season if possible.

Far more balanced as a team after Walton was removed, for the life of me I cannot understand why he didn,t start Embrey or Richards. Now we are relegated we have nothing to lose so why not start playing those they intend to keep next season. Whilst the win was nice cant help feeling that against stronger keener opposition we might have ended up losing. Crowd seemed a lot lower than 1400 stand seemed empty before kick off Genco was about half full,
