Barnet playing some nice football. Their management are vocal which is good to see. Hakans been on the blower but that’s about it.
Can’t even blame the ref. Gave us a pen and we still Fluff it!!

Erm.......
Mixed emotions with that win to be honest! Wasn’t there due to work, probably would not have gone if I was off!
Is that the same as scoring after a game is lost when the pressure is off! Is this a squad that can only win with no pressure?? Am I just being bitter..!?
Am I hoping that Fleet and Heed go bust and we have a reprieve!!?
I don’t know what I want and feel like Black Adder when he fancies Bob 🤷🏼♂️

Their coach shouting his instructions summed it up well saying “All they’ve done this half is press more and work harder”.
Some really good play second half,
Justin has a really good game and took his goal well and I think is key next season. Swaine also took his goal well and it was good to see him being vocal. I’ve never rated Muldoon, but we did play better when Walton departed.
Wishart wasn’t too awful it has to be said. But it’s frustrating to watch knowing that for every performance like today’s second half there’s been many ones similar to Havant away, Maidenhead at home etc.

Presumably, Blair Turgott is still our top scorer, but who is second? Amalozor must be in with a shout now, especially as WDH hasn't scored for ages.

Swaine my MoTM. Not just for his goal or his defensive work but for two comments to Hakan.
First one, after Hakan had shouted that "you can go there you know" Swaine looked confused and said "where?". Second after more incomprehensible instructions from Hakan he just told him to "f off".
Well played sir.

Having been awarded a penalty for a blatant dive only to see it struck straight at the keeper who barely moved I adjourned to the bar and stayed there missing all but the last seconds of the game. Maybe I should have done that earlier in the season we might have won a few more.

Well played sir. Swain was immense tonight, as was Powell who seemed to be everywhere. Wishart had a poor start and allowed their right winger too much freedom for the first 10 minutes, but he grew and into the game and did pretty well overall. Lovely interchange between Turgott and Amaluzor for the first goal, and a superb delivery by Powell for Swain's goal. Phillips looked solid and it makes you wonder why he's been out of the side recently. First half we weren't great, but second half might be the best we've played at home this season.

Swaine (with an e) was our best defender tonight and we looked ok at the back for a change. Can't recall Lewington having to make a save. But what did HH say to the team for them to come out sleepwalking? Shocking for 20 minutes and then the midfield started to play a bit. Some really decent link play at times. Second half Stones def had the best of it and deserved the win.

First half we let them play, it was training game stuff for them. Second half we upped the effort and pressure on the ball.
Going forward we looked a handful and when Walton went off looked a lot more mobile.
All in all it was a good second half.
Blair, Justin, Embery and Powell is a good front 4

Sums up our season..lose when it matters and win when it doesnt. Swaine is coming good though and will be a big plus next season.
