Whilst I think these prices are good value for next season I do worry that if the club do not achieve success next year then they may struggle for the following season, especially if we lack fight an passion like this year. I just hope Mr Still has been doing his best with the scouting. You just wait and see all the feathers flying on this forum when he keeps 75% of the current squad because he thought they had a good 10 minute spell during one of our defeats and if they can do that more often we should get results, meanwhile he brings in just a couple of new players with the tired excuse that the budget he was promised by TC was slashed by OA and all they could afford was this more than useful prospect from Ireland called Quigley. Two thousand early bird season ticket holders, including me ,will be bombarding Bill's office demanding our money back only be told there is a £224.99 administration fee to pay. Only joking(I hope).

Stop bickering everyone about prices! We are staying Full Time and expecting to bounce back straight to NL. For that supporters will have to pay a good rate. If we were going back to Part-Time and expecting to spend a few seasons re-grouping in NLS, yes, price reductions should be expected.....but we aren't, so you cant have it both ways! Bickering? It's called a discussion which is surely the whole point of forums like this? Obviously fans will make their own minds up as to whether the prices offer value for money or not.

fair enough but it depends on the level of ambition you want the club to demonstrate.
if we want that club to have a half decent shout of being a promotion contender next season
then we have to be prepared to pay that bit extra.
won't suit everybody, but success won't be achieved on the cheap

As with all things in life you get back what you are prepared to pay for. I find this thread tiresome as our prices are not outrageous or contentious they are what they are. Get over it!

I have to say the only bickering I've seen on this thread is the bickering about bickering.

The only issue I can see next season is that we will find that there will be certain games at places like Selhurst Park for example that will be more appealing on a Saturday afternoon than it will be down at the stadium playing against maybe St Albans for example.

There are bound to be things more appealing happening elsewhere in the world than watching the Mighty Stones. However, I'm a Maidstone United supporter, and in the vast majority of cases watching them play, badly or otherwise, is where I will be. Most can make their own choice, but that's mine.

Then they are not true fans of the club and we will joyfully except their monetary contribution as and when they do turn up. Personally the closest I want to get to Selhurst park is the Holmesdale pub providing it is still there

The new prices are a disgrace. Time for the club to seek new owners IMO.

Our owners, who are still not bad in a world of atrocious football club owners, may have lost a lot of fans respect for choosing the Clown and how they treated Jay, but the prices are what they are for a club with our infrastructure and there are better things to post about. Please!

Yes there maybe more appealing games, but that never stopped the 300 or so who were content to make the 60 odd mile round trip to see us play the likes of hastings, Chipstead, ramsgate etc, at "home", when we were groundsharing at askford and Sittingbourne
