Great article on a seemingly very community minded Jack Richards a la Blair Turgott in KOL this week. Well done Jack. Maybe you'll actually get some games for us now!
After Pax leaving we need a home grown Stones hero whose been around the JWW a bit so lets hope we see much more of Jack in the first team in NLS next year.

Actually, wouldn't right now be a good time to see if the kids (Jack R and Jake E) can upset some aging NL defenders in the last few games of the season?

Without wishing to point out the obvious, clearly the last few coaching teams we've had haven't considered him good enough. Being home grown isn't enough on its own.

Dropping down to the NLS might help Jack find his level of football that he can maintain, because it,s clear no one at the club thinks he,s good enough for the NL.

Yeah, Jack is not good enough to hold a starting place down in the NL although sometimes that sort of player would thrive in a better side rather than one will do little of the ball.
Lovely to see him “giving something back”. Seems to be a lot of that going on with pros in the game and it’s good to see.
I hope he turns out to be good enough

In Embery's case I reckon after his cameo against Solihull and game against Havant they have shit a brick worrying if we play him to much someone will snap him up in the summer. Would put a right spanner in our plans for next season.

I am beginning to fear for our future with HH in charge but I suppose I better give him until Christmas before I start moaning big time.

The strange thing is (and no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong), whenever Jack has played, he has nearly always made a positive impact - but without ever getting a run in the side. Josh Taylor just one of many who are anonymous every week, but keep being given another chance. You have to wonder why. When I have seen him play, Richards has struck me as someone always keen to have a go, take players on and cause problems for defences. He has a decent shot on him too. Embrey is like that (probably even better), yet seems sidelined, while another wholehearted player, Elliot Romain doesn't feature much now, nor Michael Phillips either. Can only think the idea is to hide them until the end of the season, with the promise of a decent contract to follow, in the hope that they won't get picked off at the end of the season. These are player you can build a team around, so why else are they not playing now?

It may seem strange that some of more decent players are not getting much of a look in at present. But I think 61666 has probably cracked it. A cunning plan perhaps, but you just know it makes sense !

There seems to be a lot of cunning plans at the club at the moment but remind me please ,how many of them worked for Blackadder and Baldrick?
