[/p] Maybe he should just stop doing the interviews!
That's probably the answer. It would be refreshing if someone gave an interview and just dodged the clichés, said something like - ' We're left with a shite bunch of players nowhere near the level required for this league, there is no structure to the squad, panic & ego based recruitment ruled, see you all @ Concord next year ' .
What, like "it was a mess when I arrived at the club"?

Jay Saunders, experianced non league manager. Steve Watt, Inexperianced manager but had promise Harry Wheeler, Good on paper with recent success. Tristan&Simon, had our best win percentage. John Still, Most experianced manager in the league. Hakan, worked under the most experianced manager in the league had success with Braintree in a brief spell as manager.
The buck stops with the players. All teams suffer injuries and players are expected to adapt to different formations and starting 11s. All have shown ability at times. Every manager has also stated at some point the players can’t follow instructions! In my opionion Saunders should have been given till Christmas, but once he was replaced The Clown just spent far too much money on the wrong players who have been inconsistent. John and Hakan are the two men who will rebuild next season. There is not a manager alive or dead who could get 9 wins out of these players! Once players contracts run out we can trim the fat.

Good post. I struggle with the word "good" in the same sentence as the Dealers name when referring to football, given what he did to us, but spot on with the rest - although HH's success as an individual Manager isn't great, with only a few high points.
If we won our next nine games we would need to have an open air Thanksgiving to God meeting at the JWW led by Blair T with all the towns Church leaders as it would have certainly taken a Biblical miracle of Divine proportions for that to happen!

I'm sure they're an honest bunch, this new management team, but it seems that they will not succeed in their first task, keeping us up. As for bouncing back, I'm not so sure. Their only victory so far was against a fairly modest NL relegation side, and inspired by an excellent performance by Jack Powell (probably not one of their options next season). Tactics have been few and far between. Inspiration has been lacking. But I have an open mind. The damage was done way before Still & Hakan turned up. You could put Alex Ferguson, Pep Guardiola or Jurgan Klopp in charge and not even they could get anything out of this group of players. Rubbish

Rubbish I don't really see what I've said that is rubbish but fair enough. The fact still stands the damage was done long before Still & Hak took over at the end of January. It was done under your mate Wheeler who you was desperate for us to keep. Also my statement about putting some of the worlds best managers in charge of this team and it not making a difference....well they ain't miracle workers, no matter how good of manager or coach they are this group of players ain't gonna suddenly get a lot better and be better players. At the end of the day however much you try you can't turn shit into gold.

While it's clear a lot of the players aren't good enough, phrases like turning shit into gold are hardly helpful. Why is it impossible to have discussions on here without resorting to aggresive language and insults? Are we all too stupid to express ourselves without becoming angry and incoherent?
