It's perfectly valid to trot that out every time some moronic wanker starts calling for the owners to sell up. I am hoping for your sake and health that the wanker comment was aimed at somebody else I don't remember you calling for the owners to quit so no not aimed at you. There's been a few though, especially on the Facebook group.

I'm struggling to understand tbh toon why your response to DaveU was so overtly hostile.
Are we so frustrated with the current season that we want on the verge of attacking random bystanders just to relieve the tension? (Is it the 70's all over again?)

Imagine..just imagine if we won on Saturday...or even scored a goal. Just imagine...
We might even see some news coming out of the club... absolutely nothing this week.
..a worry?

It feels like Everything and everyone is deflated throughout the club. There is an interview article with John Still on Kent Online today, about the players and what he intends to do. I'm not sure we're learning much as he is just saying players who aren't good enough will have to go. No shit, Sherlock! I suppose his most interesting point is that he intends to look to the leagues below for talent again.

Strong words from JS2 and obvious that HH was not happy, post Solihull. As it should be The side for H&W may tell us a little more, given we now have a few extra players to choose from. If fit, one would assume the following would be included: Turgott Amalozor Embury WDH Phillips Cassidy Lewington - please
Potentially, we now have more forwards than there are places for, if you also include Robinson and Romain. Shame nine of them are regular scorers! So more a case of who gets left out, as pointers to the future: Wishart? Paxman? Muldoon? Walton? McClellan? Swaine?
Something think about anyway. After a brief period of togetherness in adversity, the Forum is now finding its own level again...

Personally Steve I look upon the clubs silence during these times as somewhat of an insult, I feel it would me more engaging with the fans if they were to release a statement apologising for the poor performances etc etc but applauding the way we as fans still travel in good numbers supporting them.

You have made your feelings clear (on plenty of occasions) and naturally you are feeling insulted because the club hasn't caved into your request. All very understandable I'm pretty sure that the management team down the Gallagher is feeling equally disappointed and frustrated by the team's performances. Certainly includes JS and HH who have been unable to turn around our fortunes over the past month. Personally, I think John Still's interview on KentOnline was pretty fair. In essence the team needs re-building and quite a few players on contract will have had longer than they deserve to prove something. It is what it is and we are where we are, you can bleat all you like and it changes nothing. Only sure thing, despite the whinging, is that we will both be around to see the team dismantled at the end of the season and then we start again. For most of us that can't come soon enough.

NICK Please read the posts before your reply. Where do I say that I am insulted? I have said many times along with lots of other people that during these times when the players have under-achieved it would of been nice if the club had come forward and said a few words and also thanked the fans for there support both home and away and asked for it to continue. Now if that is in your opinion "bleating" then I suggest you use your keypad to block my comments an then you wont be offended.

I was more or less coming to the conclusion that JS2 (although that really should be '1') had written off this season right from the start, and was concentrating entirely on the summer rebuild and getting promoted next season. But the KM article made me change my mind a bit - he certainly doesn't come across that way.
Although, what else would we expect him to say? And, no mattere how candid a manager is about the players, if 7 or 8 ot of the 11 are shit and aren't trying, how do you put a team out?
But, bottom line, knowing JS as we do, I can't imagine him every totally giving up, no matter what shite he finds himself with.
I would love to know who selected Henry for the last game though!

I think that move actually puzzled many people, if Lewington was injured you could understand but he was named as a sub so assumed he was fit. Plus surely JS and the other coaches could see how much more composed Lewington was in goal, the mind boggles. Lets hope he,s between the sticks on Saturday.
