I have a season ticket and that is the only reason I will be there. The world is a wonderful place made up of different people with different views and opinions.
I have a season ticket because I want to go and watch the mighty Stones. Not the other way around.

Non attending season ticket holders will artificially boost the official attendance, but I'm guessing it will be around 1,850.

Last game of the season against Aldershot is going to be a real fun affair. In fact four of the last five games are against fellow-strugglers. If we had won any games recently, we'd be contemplating an easy run-in with a chance of a great escape.

Yes that is why I got a season ticket at the beginning of the season but I have not enjoyed it. For me this has been the least enjoyable season watching the Stones and that includes our time playing at Ashford.

I thought this has been rebuffed saying they go off a clicker at the gate? Not convinced - I know at the Emirate's, season ticket holders count whether they attend or not. Why should the Stones be different ? OK we are not the Arsenal. But somebody should know the answer, rather than just presuming or guessing, which most of us do. Wonder how many season tickets have been sold this season, not exactly a national security issue, must be in the public domain.

Wonder how many season tickets have been sold this season, not exactly a national security issue, must be in the public domain. We discussed this some months ago and a poster claiming to have worked in the club offices (I think) aserted that STs are not automatically counted - attendance figures are based on the number of people coming through the turnstiles (plus VIP, guests, etc?). I suppose the only way to tell would be for no one to turn up at a game and see what the official 'attendance' is...

One way, given the majority of the main stand are season ticket holders, would be to count the number of empty seats and subtract that from the gate. Given what normally happens on the pitch, there should be plenty of time to count empty seats. And possibly more interesting?!?

And what about those of us that have a ST but cannot abide sitting down to all the games

I think Maidstone FC need you more than ever now, not the players, but your owners who have put everything into the club. Not attending how ever difficult it may be, is not the answer. Your owners have done what they can to build up your club, don't desert them now. Lets face it you had a great run with Jay these last few years, alas you've now hit the buffers with seemingly nowhere to go. So support your owners, not the players that appear not to be putting in a shift, players move on, fans should stay through thick and thin. It seems your in dire trouble now on the pitch but, it's not quite over yet, miracles do happen.

Nobody is happy with this season frankly I wish it was over as well but it's not about the players anymore. Staying away is just hurting the club and by extension ourselves. This was why I bought a half season ticket even knowing I wouldn't be able to go more than once or twice the club needs the support now and it's the least we owe the owners for all they have done for the club. The players may not be loyal to the club but the supporters damn we'll need to be

Of course loyal fans will be there.. we've seen crap in a Stones shirt before and we go back for more. Let's just get to the end of April and draw a line under this awful, awful season.
