Swearing at football matches - unbelievable. Chanting? (At Dorking) - must be banned. Today I also heard a medical report saying that footballers three times more likely to get Alzheimers due to heading the ball, with subliminal suggestions that heading it should be banned. What next? Playing with a balloon in case someone from the crowd gets seriously injured from the warm up balls whistling past their ears? 30 minute games to stop the poor players getting too worn out? Vegan food only in the old pie shops? Any conversation with a referee of any type resulting in a red card? Football as a non-contact sport? Where will it end!

www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/global/attendances/16th. Only Woking Bromley Dulwich Eastleigh above us are not ex-League. 10th best lowest league attendance (if you see what I mean) only 302 lower than our highest. So easily the most consistent in the Top 20.

Saw at Bath they've a sign for the "Disabled Enclosure" - and I appreciate they've just applied for planning permission for a near 100% redevelopment so 'maintenance' hasn't been a priority - but isn't that almost the exact opposite of an inclusive culture, 'enclosing' portions of the population away from the rest?

Professional footballers three times more likely to get Alzheimer's, what do you expect as most of them in their prime they need a little kid to help guide them from the changing room to the pitch, the signs are clearly there early doors.

What I don’t understand is why we don’t offer schools or local football clubs free tickets to come to the home games to get higher attendances. Most children will buy food and drink so the club are in a win win situation with more income. You want to get local children involved and if we keep winning they may come back week and week. Players will also want to come and play for the club if we can offer attendances of nearly 4000 rather than the near 2000 that we get at present. The most logical reason behind not giving free tickets to the kids is that they have to be accompanied by adults, an adults may not have the spare cash to spend on football. Take into account the cost of a programme, then add in hot food an drink for sometimes more than 1 kid, an it soon becomes a dear day out. Then the kids want shirts or scarfs an then big bucks are needed. As I suggested before I think doing a reduced rate for kids rather than totally free is a better option, or maybe even raffle off free family entry on a match day. Sadly attendences are falling nationwide an as a club they need to workout how to attract new fans an more importantly keep the new fans. As a club we have quite expensive season tickets, yet the club do not offer a payment scheme like other clubs do, the club need to do as much work off the field as it,s doing on the field to maintain survival. See my post at the bottom of page 1.

Dulwich Hamlet average attendance recently overtook us. There are things we could do to make a difference. Factually correct, but only by a few*. Their average is probably distorted by their large crowd for the non-league day last week and it's likely they'll drop back down again.
*couldn't find our figure for the St Alban's game. Discounting that one, by my calculations, we currently average 7 less than Dulwich.
2816 at Dulwich today, despite an appalling run of form. Maybe we should ask them how it's done (the great attendance, not the appalling run of form). Edit. On Urban75 it says they were selling FA Cup tickets. Oh the excitement of playing Carlisle.
