We are the best supported team in our division. Not much more you can do really. Also shows importance of FA Cup prize money.

Dulwich Hamlet average attendance recently overtook us. There are things we could do to make a difference.

Many people do not even know where the stadium is as it is not very visible. How about an advertisement on the traffic island showing the date and time of the next match.

Dulwich Hamlet average attendance recently overtook us. There are things we could do to make a difference. Factually correct, but only by a few*. Their average is probably distorted by their large crowd for the non-league day last week and it's likely they'll drop back down again.
*couldn't find our figure for the St Alban's game. Discounting that one, by my calculations, we currently average 7 less than Dulwich.

Despite what one might think from driving around planning permission for signs at a roundabout or other major road junction is probably quite tricky to get. The Highways people tend to get protective about 'distractions' and safety.

The point being, they use initiative to get new potential fans through the gate. Even if only a few keep going, that is a gain for the club. It might also provide opportunities for fans wanting to get more involved, perhaps something that has been lost since the bad old days.

Re: Schools tickets. There always seems to be large clusters of kids in the main stand towards the Elvis end. I assumed they were the schools/teams/birthday parties.

But these were season ticket holders from other teams, hardly people who will change allegiance due to getting one cheap game.

Not forgetting it's pretty hard to have any kind of initiative on non-league day when you're away from home.

Not forgetting it's pretty hard to have any kind of initiative on non-league day when you're away from home. But why does it have to be only on Non-League day? I think the club could do a lot more to make people aware of the stadium, when games are, the costs, facilities, etc. If I wasn't already a supporter, the only way I'd be aware that Stones existed is by the odd shirt or scarf around town on match days. A good example is the sign outside ME station. It tells you to follow the signs for the History Centre, but I couldn't actually see any signs for the History Centre!

When we were in exile and not even topping 300 at a home game, the dream of getting back into Maidstone was a very distant one, let alone the attendence figures
