Looked like some arrived during the minute of applause. Maybe thought it was for them. Must have been our lowest league attendance for some time. Maybe 50 or so in the main stand by the end.

I know there were mitigating circumstances ( Christmas approaching, champions league on telly, bad weather etc ... but it was another low attendance on a Tuesday evening v Chippenham. Just wondering whether the club could improve midweek attendances by moving kick off time to 8pm for these games and if the national league would allow it ? At Reading who similarly to Maidstone have a lot of fans commuting from London they moved all midweek games to 8pm several years ago to allow fans more time to get to games and presumably this is successful as they continue with this at present.
What do other people think? Is there any fans that would benefit from later ko time? Would it deter some who have to get up for work/school early?

Just an idea maybe the club could do a reward scheme, where as all the people attending a mid=week game get,s a discount on the next mid week game so that way the club know in advance that the attendence is going to be good plus others may be encouraged to follow suit an come along to the games. As I said it,s only a idea so no need to slaughter it if you dont agree.

I couldnt attend because of illness but if you changed the kick off to 20.00 then I would miss my last bus home to Tonbridge so therefore I would have to spend money on train fares and taxis to get home and I could do without that extra expense. The crowd was down purely because of the weather, I think there would have been 1700 on a decent night.

I'm a season ticket holder but couldn't make the game last night due to being unable to walk at present.
In terms of start times i don't think it will make a huge difference to be honest. Midweek games are usually poorly attended unless it's a big game fans are not normally interested.
But on last nights game midweek, lead up to Christmas, appalling weather conditions, not a big away following another home game on Saturday there are a lot of variable factors, leading to a poor attendance.

Malcolm is on holiday in Norfolk so you have Norfolking chance of finding him and Cedric, not Cecil,is currently residing in no.7 and the bitch that lives there is madder than me and will more than likely put an axe thru your skull .As for your idea there would be too many administrative issues to make it work and the office staff have only just mastered the kettle and the on switch.

5 Live reporting today on the mess the Championship clubs are getting themselve into, running up huge debts in an effort to get in the Premier League. It all sounds very familiar, but with a couple of extra zeros...

I've always preferred Wednesdays for mid-week games. Don't suppose it would make any real difference, but there's something about Tuesdays...

I had no way of getting there, unless the NHS would have been prepared to transport me there, with a drip in my arm, to and from Pembury hospital
