Absolute hogwash. It's football, shit happens and the owners have no reason whatsoever to apologise for it. You've supported the club long enough to know how shit it can be at times, so why is now any different to all the times in the past. Except of course that this time around we have a stable club that isn't going to go tits up just because the owners made a mistake. Because Dave back then I wasn't a disabled man who suffers deep depressions as I do now. Back then I was loaded with money but not now. I happily paid my £270 for a season ticket as watching the Stones is one of of the small reasons I find to get out of bed each day and face the world when most of the time I just contemplate suicide. I rely on MUFC to give me hope and on Tuesday they gave me no hope eith an abject, abysmal,PATHETIC and pitiful performance that almost sent me home in tears. For this performance only I feel the owners should make done apologetic statement. It may be HOGWASH for you Dave but it obviously means more to me than it does to you . Personally I'd accept an acknowledgement from the management team that Tuesday was "an abject, abysmal,PATHETIC and pitiful performance" or something similar. The fans all saw it for what it was yet, so far, all we've had publically from Hakan is an excuse about the unavailable players.

I’m just saying. Maidstone for its size if successful could have potentially 20k plus supporters in the future. Salford and Solihull will never. Investment on that basis could be classed as success, then who knows I've read this sort of stuff before in my life. It was just before we failed to get planning permission and ended up going bust. All the people that believed we could do this that and the other soon dissipated and a very, very small band of people were left traipsing around the nether regions of Kent for a number of years. I trust you will be joining an aged NWS in going to Rusthall, Lydd and Eynsford when whatever blinged up money man gives up after two years and we end up playing on Mote Park?

Indeed, well done to any Stones supporter who drags themselves to Solihull given the current lack of passion or quality in our team. Cant help wondering though if you are doing it only for your Andy Warhol five minutes of fame as the cameras focus on you plucky loyal supporters crying into their hot chocolates as the seventh Solihull goal thunders past Lewington after six Maidstone defenders fail to stop an ambling full back stroll up the pitch unmarked to get on the scoresheet!

How many people - apart from a few hundred Stones supporters not making the trip - do you think will actually watch this match on the telly?

I must be a glutton for punishment as I agreed with my lad that we will go to the match. At least with my expectations at an all time low I wont leave there disappointed with the outcome.

I would add to that number many other NL teams supporters, especially the ones competing with the Moors for promotion, the ones competing with us for relegation (Not that we are any competition for them) and those from Bromley/Ebbsfleet/Dover/Gills/Dartford etc etc to have a good laugh at our current state of awfulness!
So, no supporter bus to the game. Surely time for JS and BW to re-assure fans that the Master Plan to restore the heart of our football club is progressing?
I fear that Tuesdays debacle, and the miserable months leading up to it, may have a deeper effect on attendances - home and away - than everyone is expecting. Maybe that may prompt a public encouragement from da management? The last thing we need is a dip in revenues and we will still need 1500 crowds in NLS at least.
Come on John, give us some words of wisdom to help us in the current doom and gloom!

Really?
I enjoy non-league football, watch the highlights show each week, even go to games not involving the mighty Stones but can't get interested in a live NL game that's presented in the amateurish BT Sport way.
Still, now we can buy discounted tickets in advance for tomorrow I'm sure more Stones fans will be flocking up to Solihull.
