I wonder how our end of season awards will pan out. Spitfire probably will be full of players in contention for awards as it is.

As things stand (and assuming teams currently in 2nd win playoffs...) Nat S will look like this next season: Aldershot Town Bath City Billericay Town Braintree Town Chelmsford City Chippenham Town Concord Rangers Dartford Dorking Wanderers Dulwich Hamlet Eastbourne Borough Hampton & Richmond Borough Havant & Waterlooville Hemel Hempstead Town Maidstone United Slough Town St Albans City Taunton Town Truro City Wealdstone Welling United Weymouth And the next big question will be, How much will we be charged for the season tickets? ? Must be a hot topic of debate in the boardroom.

Faultless. What a cock up this season has been. What a set back. One or two bad decisions and here we are.

I go to watch the Stones....but I know what your saying. I’d see it as an investment in the club, and would be happy to pay the same. I understand we aren’t all on the same page with this but if there was a guarantee that the budget would be there to challenge for the title, I’d be happy to pay it. I am half looking forward to seeing a few home wins although will miss the bigger clubs coming.

For next year Blair, WDH and Cass would be key, but I cant see any of them staying in NLS when they could be in an NL first team anywhere else, nor do I think Powell, Wishart, Meredith, Donnellan, Davies, Swaine, Taylor or Edebor will stick around in NLS, so I think that we have to write them all off. Lewington as No1 is a must unless we sign a similarly experienced keeper. So, that leaves us with SW, Pax, Ama-new-Lozar and Muldoon - who could all do well in NLS, Romain and Robinson - who could both score in NLS, and MacLennan and Richards, who are NLS at best. So, I think we will only retain 6-9 players for NLS which means that JS and HH have free rein to find those up and coming Bostik Prem and NLS rising starts who would give their right arms to play in Black and Amber. I think we should start that clearing out process as soon as we are out of the FAT, which is all we have got to cheer for now unless Stockport expectedly tonk us by 3 or 4-0 on Saturday. I'm not sure we should build around Walton. Let him stick to his coaching. We need an intelligent midfielder who can read the game and pass the ball. A modern day Joe Healy. Could we coax Davies to stay and build around him? Agreeing with you about Turgott, etc wanting to go, I would keep: Lewington, Davies, Paxman, Muldoon, MacLennan, Romain, Robinson and Richards. The new striker could work out, but doesn't seem to understand positioning or movement. He can't defend and flaps, but he is a good dribbler and can shoot and have a go, which could be worth 10/15 goals in the NLS. We need an entirely new defence and that midfielder. For a while there have been many changes to the playing squad (even before this season) and it seems to me that this turnover is disruptive. How can you play with confidence when you've had five "management teams" in three quarters of a season? Using the club as a training regime for the higher clubs doesn't seem to work.

If we were to do so our overall readiness as a club to effectively compete wont have changed that much and we'll be back to longer journeys with less fun.

Think we are looking at more than one season in NLS, unless we find extra investment. It takes a lot of money to compete in the NL and we could easy yoyo in the next few years and the thought of having alternate seasons like this one is not my idea of fun. By the by, has anyone noticed just how one footed Amalozor is? Beats me how any player these days can be allowed to develop without using his other leg just to stand on.

Got into some very strange contortions just to play the ball with his left.

Indeed, there are more than a few one footed players, but you'd think they be coached to use both feet from an early age these days. If it were me, I'd WANT to use both feet, to better my skills and it is not as if they don't have the time.

Would be nice to see Torquay blow it and stay down. It's not looking so bad
