Apparently Halifax have not scored I 7.5 hours so I fully expect them to be 1-0 up inside 5 minutes. We will then huff and puff but will fail to blow down their wall of defence and they will sneak a second late on. Crowd will be 1650. At least that will be different to when we played at there place, where we hoofed up up to Mullings who didn't win a single header out of about fifty attempts. Come on guys, lets keep positive. The crowd probably will be 1650, but lets keep the hope and the faith that we wont hoof it, wont let that first half of the first half silly goal in, and instead manage to actually break down the mighty Halifax defence with a Romain or Cassidy goal hanger scramble into the net to go in 1-0 up at half time, concede the rookie goalie error goal at the start of the second half to go to 1-1, but then do our last twenty minute fightback to win 2-1 with a ricochet off the corner flag (from a Powell off target volley) and then off the refs *rse into the top corner for a well deserved lucky win. Might even be 2-0 if we don't play the rookie keeper and have someone in goal who knows where he is in the box and doesn't try to punch everything - including the shoulder of his own player coach and put him out for the rest of the (relegation battle) season! COYS!

I would go for simple 4-4-2 I don’t think for a second this would be the 11, but this is what I would play with tonight.
Lewington
Davies WDH Donnalon Wishart
Amaluzor Phillips Powell Taylor
Robinson Cassidy
That gives us a level head in goal, four solid defenders with a bit of pace with Wishart, a proper winger on each side with a defensive midfielder in Phillips and a creative midfielder in Powell and up front a target man and his support in Robinson!! Back to basics without over thinking it.

Looks a good team Pieman - personally I'd start with Romain instead of Robinson as he's got more bite, and Aryan instead of Taylor or Amaluzor to fill the Walton gap (either of the two wingers are good potential subs). Also I see Phillips as an attacking midfielder but I agree on goalie and back four and its interesting to see you too have lost faith in Pax and Muldoon in midfield as too much of a luxury. So my team would be:
Lewington
Davies, WDH, Donnalon, Wishart Phillips, Powell, Amaluzor/Taylor and Aryan Cassidy and Romain
Subs: Rookie keeper, Taylor/Amaluzor, Robinson, Pax, Muldoon............with George Mac and/or Jack Richards if any of the first five are not fit or suspended.

Sword65 (gk)
Nws (wingback) Porkystone Ljdjd Oxfordstone Raymondo316 (wing back)
Daveu 61666 Pwoodstone
Sennockian69 Hammerstone (c)
Here’s my team for today that will tear up trees.
3-0. Nws pops up out of nowhere haven’t previously been seen on the field and nods in a diving header. Davue with a second half bicycle kick from 40 yards, and I round it off with an exquisite one two with Sennockian69 before celebrating like gazza vs Scotland.
Sword65 MOTM with 8 penalty saves. 36900 in attendance

We have to go Oldboy or Nick will accuse us of stopping our support for the club, I personally think our best hope is a 0-0 draw but have grave doubts we will keep a clean sheet even against this lot Apparently Halifax have not scored I 7.5 hours so I fully expect them to be 1-0 up inside 5 minutes. We will then huff and puff but will fail to blow down their wall of defence and they will sneak a second late on. Crowd will be 1650. I think your right on all counts apart from the crowd mate, have a sneaky feeling it may be a very low crowd tonight especially if we get a bit of rain before kick off.
