Apart from being useless in every department, do the players actually have any cohesion? It literally seemed like no one had any communication and didn’t know what the Other was doing This is a full time team ? I'd love to know what went into training this last few days to turn out that shite. Only bright spot was Amaluzor, who came on and showed a bit of urgency & spark. Henry has no command of anything, and it was summed up with him and WDH. Phillips and our angry midfielder who’s surname sounds like a sneeze having barnies about a throw in was also comical

I'm glad we've got an experienced goal keeping coach otherwise we'd have a young keeper who takes his time on the ball when we're losing. Or is that what he's being instructed to do?
Fortunately the rest of the team were inept and his slow distribution was only one of many things not right today!

Cannot understand criticism on the forum about Henry, our young keeper.
So many good saves the last few matches, under so much pressure for long periods.
Yes he makes mistakes, but I can't think of a single one that has cost us a goal.
Whereas he has saved goal bound efforts time and time again, give the guy a chance for f--ks sake.
I don't blame him for hanging onto the ball for a while, it was about the only time the team managed to retain possession !
Our defence is shit. What planet are you on ?
We were under the cosh again for long periods with precious little cover from midfield, the defence did well to hold out for so long.
At least they kept the score respectable and kept us in the match.
Rubbish forwards! What chance do they have with absolutely no service at all ?
Then we have the midfield. At last I can agree with some other posts.
Totally outplayed and outfought again, not helping with the attacks and not much better supporting the defence.
Bromley played straight through them as if we didn't exist in the middle of the park.
Simply not competitive at all.
I fancy John Still has got a pretty good idea of where he urgently needs to strengthen.

The team frankly don’t deserve even a quarter of the fans who waste their time week after week You don't just support your team when they win you still support them even if they play crap !!!! Relegation looks a cert and not surprising after what has gone on at the club this season. If anyone can rebuild a new Stones team ,that will stand a chance to come back up , hold their own in this league next time and progress into the FL then John Still is probably someone who could do it ?!! COYS.

COYS.The team is not the club. The team more resembles the actual physical playing element rather than the overall body of MUFC. As a season ticket holder, i still turn up. For away games, I still turn up. If anyone follows Maidstone only when they win, I can imagine tim would struggle to fill a coach with them as there hasnt been that many good times really...

630 Stones! Pity the game can't be what the support deserves. Meanwhile, Dover beating Salford AWAY 3-1! How the f**k does that happen?? Reason goal as well. Good job we got rid of so many crap players... Shame we cannot get rid of some shitty fans just as easily isnt it.

True and good point Hammer. This club will bounce back stronger and I hope that I am around to see them back in the FL again. One thought is - sod staying in this league, let's concentrate on getting to Wembley in the FA Trophy to financially help out Terry, Oliver and Bill this season !! Pipe dream ?? Hey , anything can happen in The Cup ! COYS

I think Nick has it right. Midfield is where we fail and the defence has to constantly deal with it. Less sure about the attack, but again it is the midfield's failings which limit their chances. It has been like this all season though, with five different managerial combinations unable to solve it. We just aren't creative and rely on the opposition making mistakes if we are to score. Our midfield are potentially good enough to be ok (just), in the NLS, but none of them would be wanted to even warm a bench by any NLP side. This has to be the reason why we can't win at home. Away teams are happy to hold us at arm's length knowing we can't hurt them. It is getting harder and harder to turn out for home games when there is so little to look forward to.

According to the match report we "switched from a back three to a traditional 4-4-2" after Bromley scored. Was news to me as our alleged midfield looked set up to be part of a back 8 they were generally playing so deep.
I know we're restricted with the players available but is it too soon to be criticising tactics?
We've had threads whilst under previous managers commenting on defending, badly, corners with all 11 players today we progressed to doing that for corners and throw ins. Admittedly there were long throws involved. Could that be part of "the small steps progress" talked about by the management team? If so, its not progress in the direction I had hoped for.

Midfield this midfield that. We didn’t compete anywhere. I’d keep Cassidy , Phillips and WDH. The rest..........

It has been the Midfield problem all season - No Power and no real creativity - clear and obvious all season.
