Men v boys for a half. They were mighty impresssive without really creating too much.
We battled and created little but actually scored out one chance.
Well played all. Can’t fault any for effort at all.

Please don't moan at Henry who was easily MoM. At least 3 great saves, good catching and kept us in the match. Outplayed and outfought in midfield but we hung on. Not sure we deserved a point but we have lost in the past when we should have got something out of a game. Work in progress. Plenty for JS to think about. We definitely deserved a point, and possibly could have won it. After we scored you could see the self belief flooding back and we were the better side for the last 25 minutes. Have to play Cassidy and Robinson together from the start from now on as we were much more of a threat with two up, and it also helped out the midfield as the ball didn't keep coming straight back. I don't think the midfield is necessarily weak, just constantly under pressure.

Agreed. Not to play Cassidy and a n other at home is silly with so much to catch up.

Fylde the best side i've seen at Gallagher this season. I saw our tactics as trying to still be in the game with half hour to go and then go more attacking that seemed to work. Two MoMs for me...our keeper and Cassidy. A draw is a good result and progress being made.

Fylde deserve to win this. No matter what our squad we are shite. Draw and I streak. Was it too cold?

He's clearly a brilliant shot stopper as he made some incredible saves that I feel would of gone in with other keepers we have had this year but my goodness what is with the kicking? Never in professional football have I seen a keeper kick it directly out of play from a dead ball that many times. I stopped counting at 6. You obviously weren't at Salford on Tuesday then - an equally consistent effort from him there as well.

Certainly wasn't on the touchline. HH was doing the honours. I think the wind played a significant part in the game. First half our keeper couldn't get the ball beyond the halfway line, though it had usually gone out well before then. Second half his clearances were one bounce to their penalty area. What we failed to do was put their keeper under enough pressure in the second half. Well under six feet, we should have made him work harder, because when we did, he started to look flustered.

Was John Still there today ?? On a previously booked holiday, think I heard it was in the Windies for the cricket. Not the best holiday if so.

Was John Still there today ?? I heard he was on Holiday. That's a relief - now I can moan about the selection and subs without being attacked as anti-Still! An excellent performance from everyone today, and signs that we aren't yet doomed to the NS. I didn't think the first half was as bad as everyone on here seems to think - we held out for 30 mins against the best side I've seen at JWW this season, and even then it was a very dodgy 'goal'. OK, we posed no real threat, but then we wouldn't, with our only goal scorer on the bench (not to mention the two midfielders most capable of bothering Fylde sitting next to him). Fylde were very good, but couldn't score to save their lives - we could have taken advantage of that with a different starting 11 and/or earlier subs. My MotM was Phillips, but it was a close call between him and Whoever-We-Have-In-Goal-At-The-Moment. But, hey-ho, what do I know...

Kick up the centre. No brainier Apart from the fact that he was almost certainly instructed to kick it wide. Ok his kicking was patchy in an otherwise excellent display I just find it a bit strange to read posts from supporters that highlight the less important negative rather than the really important positive.
