Hard to think of him being a manager for any other team but of course I wish him all the best. I bet flish, millsy, Rogers etc are well happy!

I think just about everyone at Maidstone will wish him well and it would be nice if he could get Margate on the up as I miss the local coastal games.

My post was in no way a dig btw..... hoping Jay can replicate what he achieved for you guys - first he's gotta stave off relegation.

Best manager at that level bar none! Margate are lucky to have him and really pleased for Jay! Soon they shall probably see Worgan on loan, DSY and a few other old Stones down there. With the new ground coming it’s looking good for Gate

Good news - all the best Jay. It will be interesting to see what he can do with them. Providing they don't have more money problems, I can see him getting them up to the NS, at least, perhaps even the NL. Although, unless they've got Dover/Fleet sized pockets, I can't see them surviving at NL level.
The bad news about this is it's Watty all over again - now I've got to start wanting Margate to do well again!

Great for Margate and great for Jay. Wonder how long it will be before we end up playing them. KSCup next season might bring a decent gate at the G.

It's a win / win for Margate and Jay. Just a bit of a strange feeling that from this point I will be wishing Gate well !

Pre-season-friendleez, one stones team versus another one legendary manager v another Absolutely great news and wishing Jay all the very best. With the ex Stones at the Gate I have been keeping eye on them this season and now I have added reasons to do so, and to really hope that they do well.

I understand that there was a long delay before the announcement due to Daws having surgery to attach an extra finger to both hands
