Looking at the Maidstone instagram story Paul Ince is running the line! Just a coincidence that we are playing in Manchester! Is it him?

Hats off to you, aside from a personal handshake from the whole team I think a free pint in the Spitfire at the replay would definitely be in order.

Eleven! Even so, could hear them at the end of Salfordlive - the commentary was, perhaps understandably, a little biased.

Reading the Kentonline report on Salford's website its says Stones played well and were better team on the night and should have won.

Why shouldnt the commentary be biased? It is a supporters station...fan-led. It should be passionate to suit the audience (usually) listening.

I thought the commentary was good, and relatively balanced considering it was the home team's station. It was more balanced then Radio Kent.

Some of the worst commentary I've ever heard is Charles Webster commentating on Ebbsfleet. Stones Live show how it should be done, just about as impartial as it's possible to be for a supporters station.

Lovely thread about commentary and Stones Live, but what a great result at Salford that I for one didn't think possible. Also very warming was the feedback that we actually played well and deserved it. Very encouraging. Only negative was in a strikerless game with Powell up front Richards was still just a bench warmer. At least Philpott is still an unknown possibility but, more importantly, Cass is back..........so this result, whilst only FAT and only one game, with Cass's return, does give hope!

Are any of the Salford Eleven on here? I'd love to hear a fan's view of the game.
Is the replay going to be a typical Tuesday night FAT game that half the fans can't be arsed to go to, or has JS's arrival and the unexpected result against Salford renewed interest in this cup? It would be great to see substantially more than the usual 1,500 core at JWW.

Salford get around 2000 on a normal game but could only manage 700 for the trophy. We got 1100ish against Oxford but that was a Saturday for a Tuesday I would expect to struggle to 4 figures. It would be nice to be wrong though.
