Well got a free day tomorrow due to the snow, now where shall we go to watch a half decent game? Could do worse than Carshalton vs Barnet in the Trophy. At least the match wont get frozen off.
Personally I'm staying indoors preparing myself mentally and physically for Tuesday

Ashford seemed confident yesterday that their game would go ahead, and they are storming up the Bostik South East, that's where I will be if my thermals dry in time.

I assume the draw for the next round is tomorrow?
If so, we'll be in the draw - which must be our highest 'placing' for years!

I suspect I'm blocking out the pain.

We did play them yeah and they scored the winner quite late on if I remember rightly, like the last 5 mins or so... I know it ended up being on a Tuesday as I went to the ground straight from my old work, but not sure it was postponed 5 times 😏

I suspect I'm blocking out the pain. Actually I was wrong, it was only the second round, in 2012, just seemed later because it was postponed so many times, and of course we started in the first qualifying round.

I remember because of all the postponements we didn't have a league game for about three weeks.

I remember because of all the postponements we didn't have a league game for about three weeks. The initial game at Halifax was postponed on the Saturday afternoon because of a supposed frozen pitch. It was actually postponed on the Friday to stop us travelling up at Halifaxes expense. I know this as I was booked into a hotel so didn't bother travelling and lost my money as it was no refund. We then played and lost on the Tuesday night so no replays ! Last season we actually got further, 3rd round replay but lost to Gateshead away.

Is it worth winning at Salford?
Stockport County away awaits the winners.
