Rest assured despite the mess we are in, the only activity from the board appear to be anti brexit retweet’s from Ash. They should thank every single fan for turning up last night and be apologising

We did warn you that Powell blew hot and cold. Some of his free kicks were sublime - Beckhamesque. But he have the habit of going missing for long spells. Which is why we haven't really missed him.

Which is why we haven't really missed him. the thing with him is he put in a MOTM perfomance against hartlepool and that free kick against macc but we have a better free kick taker then him

Just shouldn't be allowed at all.

What a Poker player she would make.

Our owners are good, have done a lot for us, and I wouldn't want them to go, but I do wish they would be more public in their views about the club - and only the club, - and address fans concerns more openly, explaining what they can and cant do and what they will and wont do, just to make us feel more engaged with them, and stop a lot of speculation, doom and gloom, and unnescessary rumours in the absence of facts.

Well now,l having had time to calm down after last night here are my thoughts. If Wassmer was fully recovered from his illness there's no excuse for how poor he was first half. If not fully recovered he shouldn't have been playing. Had George recovered from the injury that kept him out of Saturday's squad? Again, if not he shouldn't have played. Ethan Ross is not ready for men's football. For those who thought Worgs didn't command his area, last night was the best demonstration you'll ever see of what not commanding your area really means. At fault for three of the goals and his overall lack of presence makes the back four nervous and affects their decision making. Muldoon very unlucky with the second yellow. I was convinced that it was our free kick. Will needs to bring the ball out more often, looked a bloody good player last night when he started running with the ball rather than playing it long. Not sure why Taylor was subbed at half time, looked one of our better players first half. Edobor is a bloody good backup for George. The game: First half probably the worst 45 minutes I've seen us play. Last half hour possibly some of the best football we've played at home this season. I know Maidenhead probably took their foot off the gas a bit, but we played with more freedom, more belief and most importantly a huge increase in tempo, and were maybe a bit unlucky not to pull one more back and possibly even scrape a draw. The Ref: What is he even doing on a football pitch? Enough said. Re the ref, i thought the only decision he got wrong was when he blew for a free kick to us and it all kicked off with their idiot head butting someone. How he restarted the game with a drop ball i really can't work out. I don't see a problem with either yellow our idiot picked up, the first was stupid and also led to their first goal as it meant Muldoon bottled out of another challenge a few minutes later in the corner and they player ghosted past him. From my angle the second yellow was also correct. The other criticism of the ref is the lack of respect he garnered from the players when the scrum happened and allowing maidenhead to time waste so much, comley seemed to be given free range to faff around over every free kick and run 15 yards down the touchline at every throw in. As for us, Muldoon is a playmaker not a ball winner having him as our midfield general doesn't make sense and as has happened twice now red cards for two stupid tackles each time. Paxman who had been one of our more consistent players, last night looked like a lost boy. Someone has to tell him he is out there against decent footballers not the kids he grew up with on the playground who he could waltz around for fun, everyone knows he is going to bring the ball down on his chest as he can't head it and when it comes down they take is straight off of him and he doesn't have the physical presence to win it back, plus so many times he takes too long on the ball and the forward options are then lost and he just passes it back. Wdh was the only player who can hold their head up after that performance but i actually thought Powell played well, jarvis wants to play the ball and showed with some good passing but the rest not enough end product. I believe that Robinson will score goals just needs the right support, others have mentioned a return for Cassidy and if true him and Robinson i think would get goals at this level. Also got to mention their number 4, i lost track of the amount of times he got struck down by the sniper in the riverside trees, but to see him valiantly get back up and carry on playing was such a brave thing for him to do, he should get a medal for his bravery.

Not the worst ref, but that is not saying much. While our players are becoming more robust in the tackle, we are not consistent enough. Too often we let people go through and/or leave wide open spaces to run into. The one thing we can rarely be accused of is simulation. We get mugged all the time, but have yet to suss out how to con the ref. In many ways would hope the Corinthian spirit continues, but when everyone else takes advantage, you have to wonder. Second half, one of their players boots the ball out, claims 'my ball' and gets upset when it is not given. If I ruled the world, that would be a yellow card offence, while arguing with the ref would result in every free kick going forward ten yards, as per rugby union. Flogging will be instituted on a sliding scale for refereeing errors, doubled when they are against Stones. That way, even when we play badly, there would still be a certain entertainment value.

Up until the sending off (which I also saw as the other way round!), I actually thought he did OK - by NL standards. Re an earlier post (not yours), I also thought Maidenhead didn't piss about too much with delaying tactics - we've seen (and done) a lot worse - but then, I guess, when you're 4-2 up and able to score at will, there's no reason to slow the game down... On the subject of punishments, I have long thought that a red for a second yellow is too draconian. Getting a second yellow on its own is punishment enough. A red should only be given for something above and beyond the normal foul or 'gamesmanship' - it has too much of an effect on the game to be given for a lesser offence. And, of course, there's the madness of not being able to appeal for a secnd yellow red - this effectively treats the red as just a second yellow - so why not accept that that's what it is? Also, not being sent off for a second yellow means that a really thuggish player could get three, even four cards in a game! Overall, I think it's high time football learnt from other sports and instituted a more varied and subtle range of punishments - e.g. sin bins, free kicks being moved, etc. The current red/yellow system goes from a mild smack on the wrist to the nuclear option, with nothing in-between.

I agree 100% so perhaps the refs could only issue a yellow card for a third offence instead of a first this gives the players more time to settle into a game and a fair chance of kicking cocky little shits that are faster than them. A second yellow card with a nice red zigzaggy pattern on it should be awarded after five offences with a warning that you really are pushing your luck matey even though the mouthy t**t was asking for it. A straight red should only be issued for ABH and the recipient of the brutality can be issued with a green card as the masses sing "you'll never walk again".
