I guess we were still contributing to his wages whilst he was on loan at Bath?
So I also guess we are going to see many of the loans we have out either come back or sign away permanently.
Maybe to free up some cash for a DCM and a big CF.

Efete was basically a poor mans Seth, no amazing loss.
Hopefully this means we might be able to get another defender in.
Next on the list to go would be Wynter hopefully.

Actually I think Efete was ldeveloping into a very good player and I find it odd that we are letting him go when we don't have a recognised right back - however well Phillips has done in that position. I also thought Coker could be very dangerous if developed properly, and given it should be all hands to the pump to avoid the drop, and we have loaned players who could go back at the drop of a hat, I would have brought them both back into the squad as their departure seemed to be purely because they didn't fit the Dealers intense training regimens - and hes gone now. Also, although I personally wasnt impressed by Wynter, Dartford fans seem to like him, and Wassmer is only a loanee, so we may need Wynter, too as back up. If we are not going to bring these loaned out Stones back then we need to replace them with permaments (no more month loanees please!) or our relegation fight will take too big a knock if and when our short term loanees get recalled.

Also, if Efete was a poor mans Seth, could we get Seth back? He is another good Stone who only left because of the Dealer.

Seth’s doing well from what I hear at Maidenhead and is enjoying it.
Phillips might be doing well, but if he gets injured on Saturday for example we are really screwed so cover is essential.

I like the way you refer to him as "The Dealer". Sounds like the title for a short TV drama series. Now that's a thought.

One drama involving Harry Wheeler Dealer messing around with our club was bad enough I couldn’t bear watching it again! Still feel that with our loanees we are either stalemated - like maybe with Wassa and Jamar, or not being smart in terms of bolstering the squad. Effete would have been cover for Phillips for example. Is this loanee crisis also down to the Dealer? It threatens to scupper our relegation fight if we are not careful - however well TL and SW gel the team.

(I say just, I can also imagine he was an absolute pleasure to have around the place). You beat me to it! Also a rich man's Phillips. No disrespect to Phillips, who's developing into an excellent player, and would make a good emergency RB, but he should be in midfield, where he belongs. And Seth should still be with us. The one Wheeler deal that really pisses me off. I beginning to think someone with a grudge against Maidstone paid him to do a job on us. Whoever it was certainly got their money's worth.
