Well, certainly didn't see that one coming, but really welcome, especially with those around us also winning. Sounded like the midfield and forwards had a decent game, while Ross made a good debut. Can we now build on this and win at home? Maidenhead a real six pointer.

2 wins from 3 games since they took charge. Interestingly in 'that' interview Tristan said the only thing Harry didn't do was to coach confidence and put an arm round a player. Proof is in the pudding with the results, man management is as vital (if not more) than player ability. Well done team. It's a matter of time until we finally witness a home league win again.....

Plus the other 2 picking up a-point-each so it just shows you the task ahead of us . Our season starts TODAY and has started well.Does anybody know if Cassidy celebrated his goal? All we have to do is keep winning every other game!

So let’s fill the Gallagher to overflowing and get some new chants going for key players in this new Stones team and sing our hearts out for the boys to play at home like they have done away!

Some noise when we aren't winning would be nice too!

Agree with you, but I reckon the revival started at Borehamwood. We were unlucky against Dover at home but they've picked themselves up, dusted themselves off and produced. But what is it about playing at home? Is it the plastic pitch? This management duo are showing that they really want the job. And it looks to me like they can do it.

Well said. SW and TL are up for it and the team responded. Now to get over the hurdle of producing a win at home. Bring it on!

Well played Jake Robinson I'd love to be wrong about Robinson, and not listened to SL all the way through the 2nd half, but not heard him mentioned once? 2 assists isn’t bad 😉 Walton did say though he could be anonymous for much of a game but then come alive and score or create a goal. That’s all you need from your striker! Remember Lineker!

REALLY, REALLY pleased for the team AND REALLY, REALLY hope they can build on this. Three interesting league games ahead (ok, they all are), so after so many false dawns, I am not going to get excited until we put a proper run together. Maidenhead, D&R, then Orient. Four points would be decent from those three. Get those, then I'll start hoping. Well done team and management. Onwards and upwards.

Fantastic win. Well done to the management duo and the team. Let's hope they can turn the results around at home. And let's hope some of the critics on this forum calm down a bit and pull behind the lads. The 'critics' have always been behind the lads - otherwise they wouldn't be on here. What don't you understand about both being a supporter and making critical comments? There has been a lot of below-the-belt negative stuff floating about, eg: recently the Tristan Lewis stuff. I think that people should calm down and enjoy being Maidstone supporters again. This is a good team, gelling together, producing good football and fighting to survive this league. We have lost only two in the last six. We will probably lose a fair few before the season is over, but that doesn't mean that individuals in the club should be personally criticised. Yes, supporters are critical, they criticise the tactics and the decisions made on the pitch. Off the pitch stuff, particularly when it is conjecture, can create an unhealthy atmosphere which certainly doesn't help us. I believe that if us supporters do what the team seems to have started doing then we will up the results and survive this league.

Another great post. One win doesn’t mean we haven’t still got problems with loanees, some average players and inexperienced management - but for today it’s working and it feels great, so let’s get behind Tristan Simon and the team - all of them - and dream of staying up. Average players can play well in a good environment, inexperience management can become strong and with a tight knit team we can even survive good loanees being snatched away. Let’s put the darkness of HWs reign behind us and get behind the team and the management. COYS!

Great performance. In the end we could have had 5. Powell missed to more easy chances. Robinson the main difference 1st half. Kept getting in behind their left back. 2 crosses for assists. 2 attempted lobs of their keeper and a shot just wide. Ethan made his only real save he had to. 2nd half we weathered the initial Hartlepool battering and in the end could quite easily have had 3 more goals ourselves as we broke very well. Hartlepool efforts mainly long rang and high or wide.
COYS great 3 points

An absolute great result. Didn’t see that coming. Just annoying that most of the teams around us picked up points as well. Sounds like we could of won by more and is encouraging that we were creating chances. As we had no big man up top I’m guessing we tried to keep the ball on the floor and it worked. Let’s keep it going for the Cup game next week. COYS
